Flying a mountainous terrain, with no visibility and having an emergency. That's a mix for disaster. To assume that this is an assassination is to assume the helicopter was tempered, but nothing explains why the captain agreed to fly in these conditions.

It’s the fact that the pilots would ignore conditions and purposely fly into an area that’s a recipe for disaster. Only thing else you would need is a jammer/anti uav to cut out the feed between air and ground. After the chopper goes down all they would need to do is make sure the audio recordings are destroyed for that would be the only proof that it was murder.

Maybe this was deliberate but as many pilots have found out since the dawn of aviation the weather can kill you and mountainous terrain can kill you and fog can kill you. Reports said that in this region fog can just suddenly appear out of nowhere. So the pilot may have suddenly found himself in foggy conditions that he never would have deliberately flown into but the fog just materialized around him. Deliberate flight into foggy mountainous conditions is what killed Kobe Bryant. That said, certainly this pilot would have been instrument rated and been able to fly on instruments alone and in zero visibility. Winds can be treacherous in mountain conditions so maybe he was dealing with that too. And old aircraft like this always have diminished performance versus new aircraft.

Not really. His death doesn't change anything. The president is not the de facto leader. They even need to get approval to become a candidate of presidency... It was either a accident for poor decision making or sabotage.
