Mehdi Reacts to ICC Arrest Warrant Request and Biden’s Hypocrisy
In his monologue for the latest episode of 'Mehdi Unfiltered', Mehdi called out the GOP’s failed attempt to stop ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan from issuing arrest warrants for the Israeli government over the war in Gaza, after 12 Republicans threatened him and his family in a letter sent in April. Mehdi pointed out that Khan’s historic request marks the, “first time an ICC prosecutor has ever gone after the leader of a western country or one of its close allies.”

The ICC has been corrupted for many years, this man is trying to do the right thing, but even he is half hazarding it… Pretending that Hamas is equally guilty as Israel ain’t it… They have a right to violent resistance as any nation does who is being occupied and oppressed. That is international law. Not to mention, he is not charging the US at all.
Does anyone know why it's not a crime to threaten the icc?. In the US it would be a crime to threaten or even attempt to influence a judge, DA or a cop.

@@shereenkader1781 No, they weren't, at least not all of them. To say that Hamas didn't kill any civilians is absurd. OTOH, it is true that some unspecified number of Israeli citizens did die from the IOF's response, i.e. "friendly fire". There's also an interview of one of the IOF helicopter pilots that certainly sounded like he was implementing the Hannibal Directive.

The chief prosecutor of the ICC is British, so you understand the irony of the British government complaining about a British prosecutor in an independent international court. But the Conservative government in the UK wanted to get rid of the Human Rights Act so they don’t care for laws or regulations.
