As much as I like Frank Welker, I LOVE Hugo Weaving! Hugo was so much better for the role than Frank in my opinion because he hit it just right. He was loud when he was supposed to be loud, and he was soft when he was supposed to be soft, and that is what made his version of Megatron so frightening and compelling. You never really knew what he was going to do in certain moments.

In the Transformers films, Megatron actually looks like a sadistic mechanical alien being, which is what he's suppose to be. The concept art for these films are amazing, and the vfx team was above their time

I feel like RotF and TLK did the designs best. ‘07 didn’t really hit home for me, but I will admit that I do like the DotM design.

I like better the TLK design, that design gives me the vibes that he really was like a warrior you know? Like if I saw him in this design without nothing else for context and you told me he was a warrior on the gladiatorial pits I would totally buy it without question. Besides his battle mask is also cool AF

@@manuelgonzalezrios1314 I mean Megatron is it supposed to kind of carry that bogeyman vibe. Kind of like horror movie villain. With that taking in consideration, The original transformers trilogy, Megatron design does just that. Him chasing Sam in that building at the end of transformers one was a legit horrifying. Now the Transformers movies lacks the vibe of what the Deceptikons are supposed to be

War for cybertron is so nostalgic

TF 1 AND 2 Megatron are absolute units and badass looking, can't change my mind

TFP was my ABSOLUTE favorite show on Netflix back in the day Then they removed it

I love TFP so fricking much bro the designs were awesome and the show itself was just amazing

I love how intimidating Megatron was throughout the first season of TFA and he was literally only alive for 2 episodes. He spent the rest of the season as a headless corpse and was still scary Unfortunately the later seasons turned him into a more generic "gets beaten every episode" type of cartoon villian
