Hi Cassandra, thanks for the mention. Important to note for clarity that Doja Cat did in fact admit to plastic surgery about 8 months after my video. Regarding Megan Fox; she did admit to plastic surgery to her face ; a rhinoplasty. This rhinoplasty along with fillers and Botox as well as the 3 breast augmentations she admits to EASILY total over 100k. I know your area of expertise is not plastic surgery so I don’t fault you for not knowing prices or procedures but I would appreciate you leaving this comment up so people can be informed.

Hey Lorry! So great to hear from you, I’ve enjoyed so much of your content, and always appreciate your opinions and analysis! I actually didn’t hear about the follow up with Doja Cat, but I am so grateful to learn about this. As someone who researches and looks into plastic surgery regularly, I know that many of your estimates, while outrageous, are probably extraordinarily accurate. Especially in the Los Angeles area. Shocking, for someone who lives outside of that area! Again I sincerely appreciate you commenting this, and sharing this background info, and I will make sure that it is pinned! Hope you’re having a gorgeous day and continue sharing your expertise - we al appreciate it! 💜

@@CassandraBankson Thank you for being so open to what I had to say! Doja Cat has so far admitted to liposuction and breast reduction (both of which I analyzed her having) I will include the links. The reason my prices are accurate is because they come directly from the patients who are having these procedures done; they send me their actual surgery quotes. Additionally I am in constant communication with surgeons to verify the price quotes. Here are the links and Happy Sunday!! Some of you get these opinions though from “experts” opinions online where their showings aren’t conclusive, it’s all mostly guesswork. Like I seen one of Lorry Hill’s videos on Megan Fox and she used one pic to say her eyes were more narrow compared to one older pic and using that as evidence to say she got a procedure done. Using one pic is not a good way to prove what you’re saying.

It may seem extreme but us normal people couldn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the celebrity world and how it operates. Most of the surgeries Megan had done to her face are considered ‘finesse’ so very minute and subtle changes that make a major difference overall but to the untrained eye like you and I have it appears as if she hasn’t done anything.

I mean admitting to fillers, Botox, a nose job and breast augmentation revisions is pretty transparent. Her saying she’s open to threads and a face lift in the future shows she doesn’t see other procedures as taboo or something she absolutely won’t do…why must we know everything? Sure she said she’d spill it all, but I rather she spill what she’s comfortable with. It would be awkward if she really isn’t lying here and people are just projecting because they can’t accept that she doesn’t look like her transformers era anymore. People are like…hyperbolically upset that she’s not upfront about a mid face lift or threads, but couldn’t we just chalk up her recent look to a bit too much Botox and some kind of non invasive rejuvenation? It’s not like she’s decrepit she’s still so young. I look at her face and people are acting like her eyebrows are so high and there’s no denying it, but I really don’t see it. Edit: I could tell the ‘gate kept’ procedure she mentioned is likely eyebrow transplants. It’s lesser known and I honestly don’t think it’s a great or convenient procedure so not sharing it is wise. You have to trim the donor hair all the time and it honestly looks uncanny and not that great.

I think what most people don’t realize when they say “plastic surgery is okay as long as she is happy” is that, the more we normalise plastic surgery, out of good intention, even though we are not here to “encourage” plastic surgery, we are making it easier for girls and women to get them. The higher the level of acceptance, the more common it would become inevitably. I’m not saying that we should start judging people for the plastic surgery that they choose to get, but I’m just pointing out that this is the only way to go down for the whole society. I’m not sure if this is healthy.

I think before we can say "if it makes you happy" to shut down a conversation, we need to be honest about whether we've had the "what is happy" conversation. I think you need to have a certain amount of self-knowledge, healthy functioning and stability before you actually know what makes you happy, at any age. Societal approval and admiration can make people just as happy as self-love if they're not at a healthy functioning level emotionally, and you don't always know that until you have hindsight. It's okay to talk about that respectfully.

I think she started to change a lot after the Transformers movie. In the first part, she already had her breasts done, which she talked about, but in the second part... I remember when the photos circulated on the Internet and it was impossible not to see these treatments... only very visible ones such as breast surgery (previously she had medium-sized breasts and now you can really see the very large size) so it's hard to hide something like that, just like the nose job which is obvious... She said what is comfortable for her and that's it. There are many other procedures that are not plastic surgeries, but now she looks like a plastic face without any facial expressions and I think this is controversial. She was absolutely beautiful and I think that if she had left herself alone and found a good therapist, her fate would have been different, her psyche is very fragile! In general, the human psyche is very delicate, its problem is not surgery, but a low sense of one's physical self.

I just don’t like it when they lie and say “oh no this is 100% natural” or “I’ve always had these curves and ass”. That’s when it becomes toxic because you’re making it seem like you have something special that so many young girls are trying to achieve. I also don’t like it when they use their image to market their skincare lines making it seem as though their product makes them look naturally pretty when they do other things and plastic surgery and fillers to achieve their look. Those are the only times I feel like it’s toxic. Megan Fox doesn’t have a skincare line and she’s being honest about what she’s done to look the way that she does, so kudos to her.

This is exactly why some comments can be so problematic. It puts celebrities at an achievable standard. It would be nice if celebrities could just say things like, "this took a lot more than what meets the eye". This way it gives the celebrity some privacy and strips the need to disclose procedures. Instead of giving us the classic, " This is all natural" or "I haven't touched my face".

Unless like you said, they are trying to sell us something. We deserve to know if what they are selling will really do that, or if we have to spend thousands in procedures.

I love your channel and learning about proper/good skincare etc. from you. As for the Megan Fox and her surgery discussion, I would say it’s more semi-refreshing rather than full on refreshing. I think Megan is only being partially open about what surgery she has had done over the years. The same with Kylie Jenner; and the way Megan was talking about Kylie makes it come off like Megan is an ally/good friend of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, and so Megan is trying what Kylie did by semi-opening up about what procedures she has done. Idk, there’s just something off about how Megan announced her surgeries.

I think it's GREAT when celebrities come forward with anything they've had done or do regularly to look the way they do. However, I do not think they should feel obligated to share those details with the world, unless they actually wan too and feel comfortable doing so. I do believe they should be honest though, and shouldn't say they've never had anything done, cause they have, even if it's just getting facials regularly. Just say so, or say something like, "I'm not comfortable talking about that topic". I think in the case of Megan Fox, it's been a combination of naturally aging with good genetics, as well as selective procedures. Which is fine. Anything she has done to her should be for HERSELF and her OWN well being, everyone else's opinion be damned (which she basically implies saying nothing with never be good enough). I'm glad she's honest and open about things, but at the end of the day, that is HER business to share if she wants too

generally speaking, practically all people who are in the spotlight do something to themselves. I think that Megan is an example that even such a beautiful person can have complexes, but I disagree with the comment that pregnancy changed her so much that she had to go under the knife, she said many times that she regained her BEFORE weight very quickly, but she wanted to have breast surgery anyway (she did the surgery very early, taking into account three children in such a short time, maybe she was unsure of herself), especially since it had been years where most stars have had breast surgeries... let's not demonize the fact that everything changes after pregnancy, of course it is normal but it is not a rule, Megan did the surgery because she simply wanted to do it and type, there is no ideology there. .she had her first breast surgery long BEFORE her pregnancy, so it doesn't have that much connection. I understand the point of her conversation: "where did they go?" but this is a normal thing, she had small children year after year, and she is very, very slim, so it is natural that there is no fat in those places 😊 I'm only surprised that suddenly people are talking about transparency, when these people have been denying the reports for so many years... sure, they have no obligation to tell each other what they did, but why do they say they didn't do anything? I think that today's society is living for only photos and instagram ..All that matters is Instagram and the best angles of your body.

Hi Cassandra, thanks for the video! Yes, I'm glad to see Ms. Fox discussing this topic openly. I think for people in the entertainment industry, this is an investment in their careers. For the rest of us, this many procedures aren't feasible because of the expense, time off work to recover, etc. Also, we need to keep in mind that the same procedures will have different results in different people because we all heal differently. I do find myself wondering what kind of scarring she may have from 3 (!) different breast implant procedures. And of course, some of these procedures have to be maintained. I'm thinking about lip filler, which I noticed wasn't listed as a maintenance item,, and breast implants. It's my understanding that they have to be changed out every 10 years which means surgery under anesthesia. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with any of this; it's up to the individual. Just make sure you understand the costs, the risks, and how these procedures may appear down the road as your body ages.

I think it’s nice that she’s speaking openly and honestly about the procedures that she has had done, but I work in healthcare as well and a lot of her physical changes cannot be contributed to aging. Celebrities have a pretty significant amount of invasive procedures performed and people insist that the end result is consist with aging when it really isn’t. She does look very different than how show did when she started in the industry and I don’t think she’s being *fully* transparent about the work she’s had done.

What is happening in this video? What is Meagan fox selling? I mean, isn’t that obvious? - well, she looks fantastic, but I could not figure out who she was in the entire video - she looks nothing like Meagan Fox; older, younger, after children… I couldn’t identify barely anything from her former appearance - and I’ve seen people, myself included, change over time - I have no clue how she looks so different or what could make that happen - maybe the eyebrows are throwing me off, but it’s so drastic - Madonna looks more like Madonna than Maegan Fox looks like Maegan Fox - I mean, she relies on “her look” heavily to get jobs, so she must defend how she looks differently I guess - deny deny deny - she looks great, but she looks like a different person - I don’t remember her ever getting the chance to rely on her acting skill and not ‘her look’ - unfortunately there was sexism in her career, I believe, holding her back here - so I understand her denial about her very different appearance which is her money maker - maybe the Kardashians “get away” with it more bc we see them ALL the time, so big differences over time are not as noticeable -

Megan is clearly a beautiful woman. Was more beautiful before, in my opinion. But all the plastic surgery truly amounts to what she claimed: she has body dysmorphia. She is trying to look like the person she imagines she should look like. I know that feeling. She is nitpicking "flaws" in herself and trying to correct them, something she stated in this podcast, but she has also said it last year for the SI, that she didn't understand the fascination people had with her thumbs, when she has more interesting flaws they could speak of, yet we don't see those flaws, but she does. Celebrities have a right to privacy and they shouldn't have to disclose procedures that they have done, nor should it be considered false advertising. It is up to the public to recognize that celebrities live in a world and industry that is vastly different and that they have "standards" to uphold: not to age, to be perfect, etc... it is up to the public to assume everything is fake and heavily curated (except paparazzi photos, they capture the fact that celebrities are indeed people and sometimes they truly are not as beautiful as they are often portrayed). It should also be up to the public to evaluate the evolution of a person over the years. In Megan's case, it's brutally in your face that she has had work done, she didn't have to open up about it. However, it's great that she is opening up the conversation and being honest with her public and she is helping to remove the stigma about plastic surgery, like she once stated in 2010. If it's something you feel you should have, go for it.

Which is waaay more than wrinkles and sagging. For example, your eyebrows might lift due to over compensation, your face loses volume making your nose look bigger, your nose gets down turned because gravity, your lips get down turned, for a while, your cheeks rise before descending. Not to mention teenagers to adults. These is so much of this you learn when you learn about drawing missing people that it's hard to watch her videos sometimes

I think celebs should have the room to be themselves and to have the space to say what they had done. It’s scary for them. They have to say it to a big crowd and because of stigma its seen as something thats not good. I just think that if they feel great about how they look then its fine. Right now is the trend for actors to change up their face and someone who doesnt join in usually gets cut. But personally I think being beautiful is something that should come from within. When I tried to stop hiding how crazy I am inside and stopped hiding my insecuries and instead put them on the table, I finally found me. And apparantly me is actually a social introvert. It feels great to love something about yourself and be able to say it.

Agreed. If it’s done with a healthy mindset, it’s fine. Think of the lengths ppl go to in modifying their looks regarding tattoos, hair dye, piercings, clothing, to how we decorate our homes as extensions of ourselves. Taking care of ourselves externally and internally is okay. Let ppl do what they want. As for it negatively influencing others, talk about it. Teach other what is a healthy mindset and what isn’t. Tv has a negative influence, do we ban it? No, we talk about it.
