People equate Copolla with the Godfather and those films were about making money. But Copolla is an artist at heart, so those expecting a straight narrative will be disappointed. Ask David Lynch what his movies are about and he'll just chuckle back at you. These guys see film as art.
I can't wait for this one.
That's actually a cool idea: with LLMs proliferating and expanding their integration into media, we could have movies in the future where during the film, there would be a pause, and one of the characters would 'spring to life', momentarily asking if there's anyone in the audience that would like to appear in the movie, or has questions about the movie. That person's image could be temporarily inserted into the movie as an extra, or the AI could field those questions, sort of like a fun movie break. Great gimmic, good for long movies since too many movies these days are like a marathon, whereas in the past we had a break an hour into the screening.
Grace VanderWaal is in it. I will see it the first chance I get.
Criminality is Importsnt in any new Movie so Coppola should be aware of that?
