I think this scene will most likely have the conversation pre recorded with sound design that creates the effect of someone in the room speaking to Adam Drivers character. It may not work as well at home as it should in a movie theater but the film is apparently meant to be seen on the big screen so…

The idea to change the way you watch movies is inspired by making them more interactive so in that aspect you can say video games have changed the way you watch movies because they are “entertainment.” Make sense? Also for the record new tech like the Apple Vision Pro when become cheaper and more available are literally changing the way you watch movies too by putting you in the actual movie.

I mean we did have Netflix experiment with the choice viewership and honestly I liked it, it needed some work but the idea to have a choice based interaction opens up so many avenues like tell tale and movies combine, it could work in theatres like depending on what it is, for example a live song or background singers to accommodate a big action sequence or final showdown idk entertainment is meant to be ever growing and filled with creativity so I see no issues with it, shows me you want to do it big

Yeah I don't think any studio will take this on maybe A24 but they just got into the door of telling weird awesome stories.

This movie *COULD* be revolutionary, if they decide to ever take it to theatres, they could put this movie in 1-2 theatres across each state/province, and have castings for local actors who have a decent resume doing plays/stage productions, it *COULD* work if given the right amount of love, im surprised A24 hasn’t jumped at the thought of this given how experimental they are as a studio, it gives the viewer a similar but different experience everytime they watch it depending on the person performing the in person role, and it also helps build up and coming actors resumes and help them get the jump into acting for big production films They could also have a VA voice the role of the interviewer and have an actor pantomime the lines and body movements, that way they can keep a more consistent viewing experience, either way it helps boost somebody’s resume while also breaking the code of modern cinema

Maybe they can choose a random viewer in the theater to do the 4th wall break to have a chance to participate in the movie instead of having to get peolpe that work at the theater to do it for multiple screenings.

Realistically, theaters would just need to place an Usher in the back row, watching the whole film until the scene comes up. Isn’t impossible to do, but it would be tough.

I think it might be just a way to get the movie advertised as it’s already out of pocket money. And you know early screeners will take video of it. So what is the best idea, Make a section of the movie that can easily be ADR and then have someone in the screening talk to the screen. That’s a good way to have people want to see what the movie is about. And if that is FFCs vision, then the studio would just say to ADR the section if they can’t get any actor, which helps with cost as no theater is going to want to make someone sit in the theater to act with the movie. Common sense is the just add the spoken lines to the movie.

If this movie was on a disc or a streaming service how would this work would they show a filmed scene from a theatre or would they send someone to break into your home just to reenact the scene😂
