Water Test Results and Comparison
UL LISTED / APPROVED: UL (Underwrites Laboratory) is a trusted independent global safety science company that thoroughly tests products to determine if they comply with important safety standards. Megahome distillers are the only UL approved water distillers available. If you would not by an oven or coffee maker without UL listing, would you buy a water distiller that is not UL listed?
PUREST WATER: Distills 1 gallon per/5.5 hours. Distills at the proper speed, removing unwanted toxins and contaminates.
BEST QUALITY: Full 304 stainless steel interior, water does not touch plastic.
GLASS COLLECTION: As the distiller produces pure steam distilled water, the water drips into a glass lined nozzle and then into your glass collector. The last thing you would want is to buy a distiller that purifies the water and at the same time contaminates it with cheap plastic parts. The Megahome distiller keeps your water pure and clean.
BEST SERVICE INCLUDED: Every Megahome distiller is backed by a 1 year warranty and the service and support you would expect from a top quality appliance. No need to worry about warranty, customer service, or parts, Megahome distillers have been on the market for over 22 years and are the top selling distiller on the market.

I also use a MegaHome distiller for my drinking/cooking water. You really don't want to boil a distiller dry for two main reasons: 1) The sediment forms a hard scale if all the water is boiled off, which makes cleaning the tank a real chore. 2) When the distiller is allowed to run dry, the heat goes way up, stressing the heating element and can cause the safety switch to wear out prematurely. In order to prevent this, just plug your distiller into a timer switch set to about five and a half hours. Fill the tank to just over the 'Full' mark. This will give you a gallon of distilled water and leave a little water in the distiller. Just pour out the remaining water and rinse out your distiller before running the next batch. Your distiller will last longer, and you won't have to clean the mineral scale buildup as often.

Since we can't buy bottled water here with the virus emptying the stores. I got out my old Megahome distiller and made some pure water from tap water. I used it with their charcoal inserts that were old and got pretty much pure water with 2TDS. I bought some carbon inserts that weren't from Megahome and that water is 14TDS, so some of the charcoal is getting into the water. You test that?

try and consume more natural foods , our species specific foods in their natural form , high water and sun cooked filtered naturally already. fruits and veggies. distilled water is a good option, taking out the ever increasing contaminants , not promoting the bottled water with plastic. A nature cure practitoner advised me to pour the water into another vessel higher up to re oxygenate it and in the sunlight too to basically restructure it similar to rain water as its exposed to the air, cosmic and solar radiations. That makes the tds go higher but it purifies the water but concentrates the minerals. I did drink boiled water for a few months back in 2004 and then ran out and went to the ice machine to get water which had a filter, and it was like drinking ACID. IT was like putting a lot of sodium hydroxide in my mouth!! MY mouth burned BAD!! SO try that experiment, then go drink the tap. U will know what i mean.

Fluoride is important and an essential beneficial mineral in the low doses as seen in water. It is found in plants, rocks, organics and air. Only in excess is it a toxin, just like potassium and magnesium - elements that keep you alive. Theres a reason why humans are 1000 times more healthy and living 4-5 times longer now than 100 years ago.

@@wilko4085 Do you know the difference between organic and inorganic fluoride? Why is the IQ of people lower in places with more fluoridated water if it's so beneficial? Why are peoples pineal glands like rocks when they are scanned in a hospital? There is a difference between organic and inorganic fluoride. We live longer because our living conditions are generally better and because of modern medical care (to an extent.. Living longer is not the same as quality of life) not because of fluoride. Synthetic Fluoride is a neurotoxin and in no way will it make you live longer. Also the amount of synthetic fluoride in things like tooth paste is ridiculous (usually 1000ppm), it is not justified to use such large amounts. I stopped using fluoride tooth paste and guess what: no more tooth decay. I started using vitamin k2 instead.

@@helloman5576 Water is not only the most essential substance next to oxygen for human life. It is also complex, often containing hundreds of dissolved minerals and chemicals. It is indeed a marvelous substance. Pure water processed only by nature is a type of “whole food”. It not only flushes toxins from the body and supplies many needed minerals, but impacts the body in many other subtle ways. Like other whole foods, when it is tampered with, water loses most of its precious healing properties. Water is more than a beverage. It is a particular type of energy that we need in a certain amount on a daily basis. If we do not obtain it, health is negatively impacted.

It may have to do with regional differences in water, I'm in NYC, which would maybe explain why Poolarity doesn't have the problem. If I don't do a specific maintenance program and a few hacks, the bad taste comes back. Looks like Poolarity has another excellent video about using a timer, which is one of the things that I must do. Let it sit for 12 h. Then wash it with water, and repeat the process a few times. It should take out the metallic taste, if not completely, then substantially.
