Now that I’m in Canada I really missed the MN State Fair! It is a tradition that my friends and I would go to the fair every year.
Fresh sweet corn grilled can not be beat!!! I definitely enjoyed that! We soak ours in water for 1hr with the husk on then cook it for 3 minutes it retains all the flavor and there is nothing better!!
I'm 49 years old and I've known roasted corn my entire life. Its a common food fare all over Trinidad.
The corn dish is very common in India as a street food. It's known as 'butta' and typically available and savoured during monsoons or colder destinations. The rub on it typically is some lime juice , salt and red pepper and butter isn't very common . But it's warm and a bit zesty and sold for 30-40 cents

Nothing better than a chili dog or my fav. A corn dog. I love fair food
The corn advice 😂😂😂
I went to an air show in Midland, TX in 1999 (I think that was the year). I got some grilled corn & a turkey leg for the first time & last. Grilled corn and fresh, uncooked white corn is my fav! I frequently buy white corn, peel the husks, wash then eat. My favorite fair foods is 100% vinegar fries, grilled corn & turkey legs. Or if they have a good vendor making bbq chicken thighs. I will be going to the fair this year for the first time since I was maybe 16/17/18. I got too fat and got embarrassed when I was told my seat belt thing wouldn’t latch and gave me a ticket to play free games.. I lost 140 pounds this year and down to a size that I’m pretty sure I could ride them again. 🤞🏻
