It is an such a credit to the Artisan Team that Ruben (apologies if I’ve misspelled your name) has really taken onboard everything he is being taught even down to the tiny details like chiselling the edge off the brickwork to ensure the cable is not compromised. He is going to make an awesome tradesman he already exceeds the workmanship of some of the “professionals” I’ve worked with. Lee is also a credit to the team I’m pleased he passed his probation period 👍 well done Lee 🙌🤝

I'm addicted to this channel. As a non tradesperson I'm thoroughly interested in what goes on when I task someone to do a job. I'd be really interested in seeing a video of a complete rewire. a few years ago I had my 3 bed semi rewired and was shocked (from a good point of view) that it was completed in 3 days including re-plastering any chasing out. I admit I completely emptied the house but all the same was quite impressed.

Think I would have terminated the SWA into a wiska box on the outside of the house then ran NYY cable in the trunking, make life a lot easier and means you dont have to have a stupidly sized wiska box. Also has the added benefit that you say the bigger trunking gives future routes however if there was wago connectors from SWA to NYY the cable could be pulled back through and another hole drilled without worrying about hitting your cable.

Why the hell aren't new builds putting 6mm cable in by default to a position on the drive for a charger. Honestly madness.

Maybe drill on spin not hammer ...

Hmm, lots of basic mistakes IMHO that shouldn't have been made by a premium supplier. Worst being brick blowout *2 (Unnecessary box used to conceal entry into house because of blowout). Cable could have been concealed in trench around the wall. Use of hacksaw near customers worktop - cutting should have been done outside where there was more space. OTT trunking.

Brickwork by a blind person - no pride in workmanship and the site manager should be sacked. Learn something from Artisan Electrics at the top of professional standards. Good work guys.
