More than 50,000 people have died in Mexico in a bitter drug war over trafficking routes, while gangs face a clampdown from government forces. As voters across the country headed to the polls, Al Jazeera spoke to one gang member who told of his experience selling drugs, racing horses, and ordering the killing of those who murdered his family. Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman reports from Ciudad Juarez.

The problem is a American one. If Americans were not snorting so much the Cartels would not have as much cash. Cash they they spend on American guns.
If he's buying drugs by the Kilo he's not high in the organisation
legalization would mean the loss to thousands of government jobs. we cant have that now can we

It would also mean we’d have pot heads running through the streets have have more drug influenced crime. Either way we lose and the drug dealers get the last laugh.
