Peter something I forgot to mention. Your videos served as an inspiration for me to start my own YT channel, not about Thailand, but another subject entirely. I see that you have 60k subscribers after about 6 years, while I have 1.5k subscribers after 1 year. I never intended to make money as a side hustle, and never will. I suggest you talk about monertizing, or let's say the improbability of it, in between some of your stories. It could enlighten others who mistakenly think that they could break through this glass roof.

My channel has been up and running for about 4 1/2 years my intention initially was not about money it was because I enjoyed doing it however, when you're committed to a KZread channel you have to understand that there's long hours of work filming editing there's a lot involved so I thought why not I might as well get something out of it

@@ThailandBound Me too. I initiated my channel as a man on a mission. 6 months into it, I became aware of monetization. However my market niche potential is far smaller than yours. So a side hustle income is not on the cards for me.

The last guy, his schedule sounds like my schedule would be when I come to Thailand. Just easy going, no huge parties. Great stories Peter. Cheers Mate.

Good mix of stories.

The last 2 stories were told before. Why don't you mention that the stories are from your previous episodes for your older subscribers so they can choose to listen or skip?

I mentioned it in great detail at the start of last week's upload, I'm not going to explain myself on every video. Each story is time stamped so you can move forward. I have a lot more subscribers than I had 2 1/2 years ago when I last read those stories out, many people haven't heard them. It's a free channel you're not paying for a subscription

@@ThailandBound I understand. I'm not a freeloader, I have a KZread subscription which pays to your channel when I view it. I was expressing my concern. It doesn't feel good to know that a story is an old one after 5 minutes in it. But as you said there are plenty of other channels. No worries.

The last story was great! I was waiting for the train wreck, but it never came. Probably because he didn’t fall for these girls nor did he try to convince himself that he was special, or any of these girls were “different“

How old was the Hungarian guy (3rd story). Incredibly irresponsible to go on a monthlong holiday without a job lined up! I don’t think meeting that woman and staying with her did him any good at all

Nice to hear about the 70 year old planning to visit in 2025. At 78, this fountain of youth in LOS works for me too, but I only plan 4 - 6 months in advance. Particulary since my other favorite You Tuber, steady Eddie, was struck down in his prime with a stroke at age 62. This has now set me thinking about sending you more of my experiences as a real Old Fogie. Age is definitely a factor here which differentiates me from guys in their 50s and 60s. Keep up the good work Peter. Both my regular visits there and your stories, to which I have contributed in the past, keep me wanting more. Stay the course!

No but occasionally I will repeat an older story if I think it's worth a second read as I'm always gaining a new subscribers

Story three just seems to be a series of very poor choices made by the Hungarian, he has no job but goes to Thailand and works through his savings then ends up living of the back of a bar girl. I actually feel sorry for the lady.

I think these videos would be cool if you kept the same format but put yourself in one of the corners :)

In HCM many people invite you for coffee/office/there house. They want afree English lesson. Same as any city there good and bad people

Funny I had always heard it referred to as the 5,5,5 rule, but hey 444 works as well LOL. I've had hotels around Sukumvit in Bangkok a few times now, but for some reason I have never visited Thermae Cafe. I guess it is easy to miss when walking by even though I know roughly where it is located (near ASOK BTS).

Its below Ruamchitt Hotel..easy to spot because of all the (mainly) LB's standing in front. Personally I think its better to find girls walking or standing in the Nana/Sukumvith area because its easier to negociate because inside they will not likely bargain because of the fact everybody is looking and thet dont want to lose face.

Yes, you would need to extend your tourist exemption stamp. It will last until midnight on the 13th of July. but then you can extend it until for another 30 days before it expires.

I literally put out a video last week about One Stop visas in Pattaya they're very good

I dont know about that. Here in Japan the selection of girls is 10 times better than Thailand and now days even cheaper. You can find places with great selection of girls for about 60 US dollars for 1 hour all include and the service is excellent. May be Japanese guys actually working and living in bangkok, may be.

Those $60 all included places are only for Japanese. Also Japanese girls "bow" their legs and "bear" walk on purpose - which isn't not not not attractive at all. And they don't shave.
