Rawalpindi is so cool. The people have big hearts.

It's a khoya ice cream. Made out of koya(evaporated milk solids) and nuts(mostly almonds and pistachios are used). It's called kulfa when eaten this way, without a stick. It's called kulfi, when eaten on a stick.

250 for bike ride to saddar.. Guy was nice he charged 200 rps. U in chikbazer its a corner of saddar.. Go to main saddar. Seem like u went in saddar on sunday or monday. Petrol 282 rps.. Always remember when u in rawalpindi sadder always open ur eyes there a scammers nd beggars take ur stuff in seconds. There is KFC tazeeb, gol guppy.. Specially when u say pindi boy than eat pindi food anday wala burger than u will b a real pindi boi.. 😂😂 Pls buy wallet in saddar its very cheap here. Best of luck. 😅😅

Yes it's good to pay with insistence in Pakistan, but haven't you seen, clearly he was treating him like a guest so perhaps he would have felt weird if he paid. Because the charge for ride was much less than what it must have cost him for a corn and the icecream. He was nice and curteous guy. Wanted to buy him anything and everything that phil liked. We Pakistanis are used to such behaviour and learn how to forcefully pay, without offending the other person. But this behaviour is different and weird for foreigners so they ain't as insistant as us. We learn and become stubborn over time to be able to pay and handle situations, but for foreigners this is something they don't know from their culture. And if they tried to pay forcefully, they might offend the other person or hurt their sentiments, because of not being aware of what's culturally appropriate. If someone is kind and curteous to us, we can return that curtesy, in another way, if we can't pay. Because we live here. But foreigners can't do that, can they? As to them, it's just a travel journey where they meet unknown people, whom they would probably never meet again.
