Two bits of hilarity about this: 1. The idea that Sadiq Khan, the mayor of one of the biggest cities in the world, somehow managed to illicitly stash away £500 MILLION to use for bribing the electorate. 2. Tories trying to use the "We can't tell you what our plans will be because we don't know how much money there will be" when they've been trotting out their NPC "Where are Labour's plans!?" dialogue for only about 5 years now.

In public sector any money you are given by government of councils you have to spend every penny. If you spend half next year they will assume you can do what you do next year with half the money you receive the year before. I would assume it is the same case here the mayor getting a budget from central government and having to spend all the money before the new financial year

Stop ULEZ is about the ULEZ expansion to Outer London and is supported by Outer London…. That particular expansion is based on lies and fraud from Khan… It has cost the poor and low paid a considerable amount of money they could either ill afford or could not afford at all. 26 Mar 2015 is when Boris gave us ULEZ and since then it's always been 'Labour's fault'. Which is how impossible it is to convince the electorate who's responsibility it is. We need less air pollution in London as it kills but we also need a strategy which is unionised by both parties as this is just one party passing the blame and not taking responsibility for their original concept. With voters blaming a mayor who has had his budgets crippled by a Tory Government. Yet it's not their fault.

Very unsure of her brief. London doesn’t deserve this level of screaming ineptitude. Bottom of the deepest Tory barrel.

Thousands of Jewish Londoners have been ON the marches Susan Hall condemns, and at least ten or a dozen Jewish people have spoken on the platforms at the end. The action at Liverpool Street station was organised by Jewish people. Identifying all Jewish people with a single political position, not widely shared, is a grave injustice and is seen by some as antisemitic.

The caller who was "driven out of London" because if the Park Lane cycle lane, blames Khan when it was in fact Boris Johnson who signed it off, and built far more bike lanes than Khan has overall. Johnson also introduced ULEZ.

Seeing how upset she is about eco protesters, I wonder if she would apply the same standards to ULEZ protests which involve actual acts of terrorism and dangerous acts which have lead to a child being injured...

I would say that Mayor Khan's saving money for emergencies shows how responsible he is. Tories for nearly 14 years have starved councils and created scarcity,disabling their ability to fund even basic services. Why is this woman turning a positive quality in money management into a negative? Gaslighting as usual. Mayor Khan is dedicated to London.

As a labour voter I'm thinking just not to vote for the mayor. I can't vote for Khan and I know he's getting in regardless. I wish Labour would put another candidate forward, it's time for a change, both nationally and in London.

Forget it- Thatcherism is set to continue uninterrupted under Starmer. The Blairite ascendancy is well and truly in charge and the left will be eradicated from the party soon. Thatcherism/ neoliberalism is the root cause of everything that is wrong with the patient yet the same medicine keeps on being prescribed. As Einstein said, the definition of madness and all that. The voters under FPTP have had the society they voted for since 1979, with unions rendered almost powerless and wealth transferred from the majority to the rich- the first making the second possible. No-one is calling for the rejection and reversal of Thatcherism but it is the only answer to Britain's problems. Starmer has no meaningful answers as will be self evident two years into a Labour government when almost nothing has changed.

She speaks a lot of sense in a Liz Truss sort of way. It actually reminds me of the time my mate had a bang on the head after a car crash and spoke utter gibberish for the best part of 3 weeks.

The fact that she said the caller was "bad-mouthing" thre police officers and then had to pretend she appreciates the guy when she finds out he IS a police officer... Priceless

All those things she didn't know? She's on the London Aseembly. Knowing this stuff is literally her current job!

I'm up in Northumberland where there is a massive forest full of squirrels. She would b better off here in Kielder out of harms way than wandering a big city alone.

Did ULEZ not come up? I live in Orpington where an awful lot of the traffic lights were cut down recently. I’m annoyed that people are only angry about it because they’ve been told to be. I fully expect that had Boris continued as Mayor the policy would have been almost exactly the same, but without the public backlash.

Boris Johnson came up with the plans for ULEZ in 2014! He was the one that planned the whole thing and announced it would start in 2020! 🤦🏻‍♀️
