i have the exact same 2022 k5 with a 2.5l 4 cylinder motor (194hp) and an 8 speed gearbox i've had it for more than 3 months now with 6k kilometers on it it is an amazing car, great fuel economy very comfortable driving experience and the cloth seats are very comfortable too, and it's great on long trips , overall it's a very great car 👍

Just got mine today, traded in my 2019 Optima for this one, you're right they worth the money from the tech, very spacious and the warranties, and this video saved me some manual reading 👍🏾

Did you lease? I don't know if I should lease of buy one since I'm a college student and I need it for working outside of campus.
I had a white 2015 Kia Optima for 4yrs, not 1 issue ever! I loved that Car! Traded it in. I miss my Optima. :(

Hey great review! I wanted to ask about the sacrifices between the gt line AWD you mentioned. I test drove the gt line awd and I really loved the panoramic sunroof and the heated seats. Is there an option for either of those on the LXS?

Not to my knowledge. You'd have to buy another brand. The Hyundai Sonata has a hybrid engine option

My first car was a 2015 Kia Optima, had it for 6 yrs with no problems until some assholes decided to steal it and strip the cadillac converter and other engine parts. It’s currently in a shop waiting for repairs. I ended up buying a 2022 Volkswagen passat, but I think I will always have a bit of regret not going with a K5 (I was obsessed with it since before my optima was stolen) but I wanted to try other car brands. I love my passat, definitely a different vibe (classy) than a k5 (sporty). Can’t wait to see what kia has in store for future models!

I know led headlights look very nice and whatnot, but they are extremely blinding to oncoming sedan or coupe drivers and with led high beams it real insane.
I would trade my Optima in for a k5 but my aunt has a gt line already so I’d probably get a stinger

The LX is the only model that doesn't come with it.
Strangers come up to me and ask me what kind of car that is ! Yes, that really happens, despite the car saying KIA on the front, back, and on every wheel !
