Meet Prep trouble

Meet prep trouble just 2 weeks out from competition. I'm having issues with my training throughout the last 2 weeks and I think I'm in trouble. This meet prep hasn't gone as well as I'd hoped, but I'm trying to hang in there.

    I think some good rest will do more for you than you think. I get it, I would be frustrated too, but try not to get discouraged. Good luck at the meet, Marcus! I'm rooting for you!

    You’ve got this man, feeling beat up coming to the end of peak is pretty normal. Hopefully the taper gets you feeling right for the meet! 🤙🏼

    If I recall there were some other issues in your last preps and you came back and set PRs come meet time. Go back and watch your old videos. Trust the process!

    Getting all those fails out of the way! As some wise man said, gains come from the recovery, not the stress. Prep your game day's' supply of hydration and snacking fuel, and then it's all you.

    Good work Marcus. I always get nervous going into meet weeks, but I find the taper really helps me and my masters body

    Many have hit PRs at meets after having failures during peaking. It is amazing what built up fatigue can do even though we don't recognize it.

    Looking good Marcus. When I failed my lifts I just say it's only bottom to the top. Ya. I hate elbow soreness! Just like a car driving long distance. Cruise control helps.

    Powering through even when gassed is going to show great results when you're fully recovered! How are you liking that VBT sensor? I was thinking of getting one myself.

    It's good. I haven't had much time to analyze the data, but I'm seeing a trend with bar speed and it is helpful.
