5:20 I don't think he is exaggerating his reactions, I think he genuinely finds almost everything Karl says hilarious. That's pretty much the only reason he spent years doing projects with Karl and keeping him around at a time in his career when he had all the freedom in the world to do anything he wanted. He said this in interviews. They were good friends for years basically for that reason.

I had to be admitted to hospital once, a student nurse was booking me in and they asked what disability I have (I'm a wheelchair user) and I said since birth yadda yadda... and their reply was you must have been a bad person in your past life. Honestly, I get the brotherly love Ricky has for Karl, I have a few mates that crack me up like Karl does. Ricky was obsessed with Karl, he really truly finds him that funny. You are glorious too btw, what a wonderful energy x
It is funny that Karl brings that book of 50 weird things around him everywhere just in case he runs out of things to talk about with people 😂 Love the fact that Karl himself thinks that he is very smart, he is so oblivious of himself that it is charming and irritating at the same time We all know a few people like that who guesses facts when they don't have a clue, just for the sake of keeping the discussion alive

Karl has a wonderful mind, he thought the song Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton was about a fella in a wheelchair, he just makes up details in his imagination that are not there in the actual story. I don't know how much of his public personality is real but I've heard on the old xfm shows that he has trouble with sometimes thinking things he's dreamt about has actually happened, so he mixes a lot of things up and adds details to stories because he just thought it fits.

A kilo of feathers vs a kilo of whatever you want, iron, lead and so on is still a kilo. What I think you are thinking of is the thought experiment (which you can test in real life) if you drop a kilo of feathers from height X at the same time as a kilo of iron from the same height. At the same time. Which of these will land first? ..dropped at the same time, if you disregard air resistance, they land at the same time.

Karl is sort of right about "chinese people" aging badly. From what I've seen, east asians generally do not age well, and become very wrinkled when old. I don't think it's anything necessarily genetic, but east asians generally have a strong work ethic passed down through the family and the stress and toil throughout their life likely plays a part in them looking really really old when they're in their late 50s or 60s.
