Meet Joe Black 1998 - Cold Lamb Sandwich full scene 1080p

Фильм және анимация

This is one of my favorite films. I think it is very romantic and I especially love this scene... The interaction between Bill Parrish and Death is very nice. The way Bill speaks of his late wife, remembering how he first met her...
PS, Anyone else hate Drew knocking - I mean I want to hear more about how Bill met his wife for the first time! Like Death said, yes Drew you're interrupting. Go away!

Hopkins is absolutely brilliant in this scene. You can watch it entirely out of context and he still invokes in you the intense feeling of heartbreak and loss his character feels.

Shane Majszak what is brilliant is in the whole movie we never see a pic of his wife, so we as audience have no image of this lady so we can’t judge her based on her looks, make assessment of how attractive this couple is, judge her character based on a pic, all we have are her husbands description of their love and we can imagine a beautiful marriage and a beautiful woman. We never need to see her to understand she was a remarkable person.

Absolutely but I don’t think Brad gets enough credit for his acting though. Because of his looks people don’t fully realize how good of an actor he is in probably everything he’s done. Just look at this scene, here Brad truly comes across as someone eating that for the first time, and experiencing this world for the first time. Look at his “piercing eyes”. He looks as if he’s looking right through him and into his soul, or maybe as if he knew his wife and walked her to the other side and knew her soul. Those nuances are so awesome too me.

They got along great both in here and Legends of The Fall a few years back. The only thing i believe happened was Anthony Hopkins stressing out a lot with the director, Martin Brest, for wanting to do multiple takes.

The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that who reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. John 1:1,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Hebrews 2:14-16 KJV Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [15] And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [16] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 1:10 KJV He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. John 20:28-29 KJV And Thomas answered and said unto him, MY LORD AND MY GOD. [29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Acts 16:30-31 KJV ...what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. 1 John 1:8-10 KJV If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. GOD CREATED THE WHOLE UNIVERSE, INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL PLANTS, ANIMALS AND THE FIRST TWO HUMANS (ADAM AND EVE) IN SIX LITERAL 24- HOUR DAYS. GOD CREATED THE EARTH AS A GLOBAL PARADISE, THERE WAS NO DEATH, SICKNESS OR DISEASE. MAN LIKE ALL OF THE ANIMALS ATE VEGETATION. ALL WAS PERFECT. Genesis 1-2 GOD CREATED ADAM, THE FIRST MAN OUT OF DUST Genesis 2.7, GOD COMMANDS ADAM NOT TO EAT FROM THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL BECAUSE, THE TREE WILL BRING DEATH Genesis 2:16-17 GOD MAKES EVE, THE FIRST WOMAN FROM ADAM'S RIB Genesis 2.18-23 ADAM AND EVE WERE NAKED AND NOT ASHAMED Genesis 2.25 THE DEVIL APPEARS TO EVE AS A SNAKE AND CAUSES HER TO DOUBT GOD'S WORD Genesis 3:1 THE DEVIL LIES, TO EVE AND SAYS THAT THEY WILL NOT DIE IF THEY TAKE FROM THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT. Genesis 3.3 ADAM AND EVE EAT THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT Genesis 3.6 ADAM AND EVE'S EYES WERE OPENED. THEY KNEW THEY WERE NAKED AND HID IN SHAME. Genesis 3.7 ADAM AND EVE ATTEMPTED TO HIDE FROM GOD Genesis 3.8 GOD CURSES THE DEVIL Genesis 3.14 GOD PROPHESIES OF HIS REDEMPTION OF MAN AND THE DEFEAT OF THE DEVIL Genesis 3.15 GOD MULTIPLIES THE WOMAN'S SORROW AND CONCEPTION AND HAS THE HUSBAND RULE OVER HER Genesis 3.16 GOD CURSED THE GROUND FOR ADAM'S SAKE. THORNS AND THISTLES WERE BROUGHT FORTH Genesis 3.17 THE HUMAN BODY WILL RETURN TO DUST Genesis 3.19 GOD CLOTHED ADAM AND EVE Genesis 3.21 GOD DROVE ADAM AND EVE OUT OF THE GARDEN Genesis 22-24 THROUGH ADAM, CONDEMNATION CAME UPON ALL MEN AND ALL BECAME SINNERS. Hopkins was able to catch me so deeply that in less than 2 minutes it wasn't just a movie anymore... then the scene is abruptly interrupted by the knocking on the door... It's the perfect example of a scene which is so valuable to worth for the entire film.

She was wearing a purple shirt, and her purple work hat with purple lipstick. It’s her favorite color. Her hair was tied back in a short ponytail and had kakis on as well haha. Someone said something to her and she laughed, the kind of laugh that reaches your eyes. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Anthony Hopkins plays this as perfect as you can play it. Brad Pitt is perfect as his sounding board, and yet his adversary as well since he took his wife away. What gets me is Hopkins plays it so matter of factly, and then when he begins to describe her, you hear a slight choking up as the tears come. Very subtle, but it's there of you listen. You never see the tears, and he never completely breaks down, but his strength holds it together, and then he wipes his eyes quickly as if he thinks, "I have to get back to the real world again."

This scene is what makes movies so magical. The expression of true deep love and loss that one had to have experienced to convey genuinely as a creator, a performer, an artist. I marvel at the brilliance in this scene and others. Movies are more than money. They are expanded windows into a million lifetimes that an individual could never experience in one's life.

One of the many marvelous scenes in the movie that point out that death is human (perfect metaphor of a perfect movie). Death isn't bad or ruthless or vengeful or brutal or anything mainstream culture wants you to believe, because post-religious/Western societies always confuse the concepts "death" and "devil." As this movie shows us, Joe a.k.a. death has a duty to fulfil. And while he realizes how much potential he has to be a friend, a lover, a consultant, a family member ..., that job needs to be done and can not be escaped.

I had a huge crush Sir Anthony Hopkins. The huge age difference didn’t matter to me. There was something about him on screen that I liked. So much so that I decided to find myself a Welshman just like him. I found him-my Wild Welshman-he was the love of my life! He passed away in 2021. It’s a pain that will never truly go away and an emptiness that will never be truly filled. You just have to get on with it knowing he is my guardian angel looking after me. One day when my time comes we will see each other again.

John 11:25-26 KJV Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: [26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? Are you saved? If you died tonight would you go to heaven or hell?
