Just finished, ripper read. I know others will probably be most impressed by the marathons, channel crossings, long commutes etc, but for me the highlight was your brutal efficiency in setting up back-to-back-to-back-to-back dates with prospective suitors (and finding Helen in the process). Bloody ripper tale Beau. Keen for book 2 🤜🏼

Hi Sam, That does sound worth the read. I wrote a book about healthy dating and my experiences, translated it into Thai, posted it on an online PDF and then sent interest to 5,000 Thai women, e-mailed the book to 1000 who showed back interest, communicated with 250 who read the book and liked it, then met the four that were interested in a serious relationship. I think a good partner in life is worth the effort and I can only imagine Beau's effectiveness in this area. I'm looking forward to the audible book. Best, Dane

Thanks Beau. I assure you it’s a page turner, I read it in one sitting. And the odd boo-boo just adds character. Your stories have honestly helped validate to me that I’m okay, I’m not the only ‘weird’ one out there who explores, stops to pick things up from the roadside, thinks a bit differently and ponders people and places. All my life people have referred to me as ‘quirky’ and I’ve hated it. From here on in I’m gonna embrace it. Well done, great book, looking forward to more stories.

Definitely need an audiobook on audible read by Beau!

Received my copy here on the shores of Lake Superior about a week ago, had things to do but sat down to read the first chapter and the last. Had to tear myself away because, well… things to do. In an effort at discipline I have told myself I need to finish another memoir I am reading first (dinner before dessert?). Thank you for this book, excited to hear there will be a second. And thank you for your stories and films!

Beau reminds me alot my late stepfather. He was the one who taught me to have an appreciation for nature and to just get out and do stuff. I would've loved to share Beau's work with him as I know it would've resonated with him just as much as It does with me. Cheers everyone, live every day!

Hi Beau, I finally managed to order a copy of your book. I had difficulties finding a distributor who would send your book to Europe! One distributor who could not offer this, gave me a link to a competitor who could offer this service. A very nice gesture!! The costs of posting the book to Europe is more expensive than the book itself. But if the book is like your films on KZread, it is definitely worth it. Cheers Beau!!!!

I pre-ordered this one two months ago and finished it last week - absolutely loved it. So much so that I actually developed a reading habit over lunch because I didn't want to wait until the evening to continue reading this book. So yeah, looking forward to the next one Beau!

I just love your energy, so rustic and determined. your a bloke and honestly we need more blokes in the world because more and more are becoming indoorzy where you take us on adventures and its fun to watch, at least I dont get blisters watching you lol.. Hi Will, there is now an audio book version out there - sorry it took so long. The shutdowns here made it hard to get Beau into the studio.

8 months later: if anyone is also wondering, the song is called "Peace Be Still" by "The Hunts" and it's the instrumental of that song.

Saying that you love your daughter more than Helen, is in my mind the correct answer, as after all, May is the combination of both of you.
