I love when the mums sit on a step or the foot paths with their legs apart like old women when they sit on their steps chatting away watching the world go by and their kids playing. ❤️

I love how they sit with their feet crossed together and their arms hugging them. They look like furry plush toys. Am I the only one concerned when the younger ones play so high in the trees?

I know he's rare & special, but my fav are the dark coat ones that look like rich chocolate in the sun over the "leucs" or the "normies."

I think our special golden boy will be an alpha one day. He acts different from other boys his age. He is very attentive. Looks like he soaking up as much knowledge as he can. There is a lot going on behind those eyes

Probably more of a coincidence that has played a role at Monkey Hill, as it doesn't seem like it's a sex linked trait.

He's such a photogenic lil guy! He and the camera are true soulmates lol He's constantly looking straight into it, especially in the last video he was featured in where he kept going out of his way to peek past his mom's fur, no matter what position she was in, just to look straight at the camera. 😢 Also, love the name Akira for him ! 💓

She seems a little older than the leucistic female you documented in more recent videos with Nugget and or Akira. Its a hybrid monkey.. cross breed between a pig tail and a long tail monkey. all the hybrids ive seen got semilar gold color. But this one is rare. It has a dark golden hair but he also got lighter colors in other parts of his body. Dont forget about the eyes too. Got a different shape and color.😊

No, they are _rhesus macaques_ and they have a colour mutation. There are several others at Monkey Hill, which, by the way, is in China - not Japan!!!

More than one troop have leucistic babies but this troop doesn't have a name yet. At least not a name that has been revealed to us. Marilyn belongs to the Car parking troop and Marigold belongs to the Nullah troop (Hercules troop) and so do Goldie, Primrose and at least one more kid (born 2022) with leucism. 🤓🇸🇪
