@adeemuff Жыл бұрын
What a pleasant surprise to hear you play Medtner! In my personal opinion, this composer's music is worth much more recognition than it gets nowadays. The piece itself is cheerful and optimistic - quite in line with the mood of your channel haha Thank you for the music, structural analysis, and text comments. "Have you been able to count along with the time signature?" It's unusual, for sure. However, after ruminating on the scores of Rachmaninoff's Isle of the Dead, Arensky's Piano Concerto 3rd mvt, or Mission Impossible soundtrack, the five-beat count feels a bit more familiar. Maybe, those who grew up on Bulgarian folk dances would not have any rhythm issues at all! :) It’s also been interesting to watch you perform leaps such as 02:03 and see them in the score without any 8va lines! There’s just one downside. If somebody wants to add this video to some playlist with good music, they may decide not to because of your signature tune at the end.
