To clarify any possible confusion about the floors:
tower houses don't recieve enough attention. they weren't just built for nobles. rich merchants would have them too. they are fascinating structures. imo, the peak of practical stone masonry architecture for everyday living.
I have been there a few years ago lol. But I was in Carrickfergus castle just up the road from me in Northern Ireland last week.
I find heavy stone buildings like this one incredibly charming. I would love to live inside such a building, but I know in reality it would be a nightmare to heat during the winter.
Nice work mate! Thanks from Germany! :)
wow such a col video i come from the northwest of America. people in small towns would build round little towers in the middle of town to run and hid in. so small though with low entrances so you would have to be ducked down to get in as a defense system. normally 3 stories high
Magnificent video, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
This is great. Thank you!
So interesting! Amazing how well everything is preserved.
That would be a good place to party like it's 1399! Happy New Year!
Very interesting video and great footage of a beautiful castle / manor house! 👍
Very well done. Thank you very much.
wow so cool manthank you. wish had that stuff here to go see
Good video! Are you planning to do tour videos of any other castles?
Beautiful
Congrats on the upcoming 1k subs
I love the castles meant for giants and how there is extra floors to the castle buried beneath the earth from the last mud flood reset. Just amazing. Our smaller sized people definitely didn't build these with the tech we had with our horses and buggies 🤣🤣🤣
Balkans and Caucasus are full of it
Nice castle and a nice video. The tree on the courtyarc looks nice but it destroys the castle. Not nice to hear but if it is allowed, you better take it away. Maybe you can make some nice furniture or beams from the nice tree. Regards from the Ardennes ( many trees here).
Can you post the soundtracks?
