Drove him to the point he isn’t with us anymore. Where are all the people who had to see Ed’s career and reputation utterly destroyed!!!!! For the record, I'm pretty much a right leaning centrist, which in the eyes of the legacy media makes me a deplorable Nazi. I was fifteen when "The Sandman" comic first went to print. I immediately loved it. Hell, thirty six years later, and I still have the first issue stored away in a box. Despite Neil's virtue-signaling smooth brained political leanings, I've always embraced his writings and enjoyed them for the most part. I first started to detach myself from his fandom when the Sandman Netflix series made all of these foolish DEI changes to his celebrated work, and Neil Gaiman applauded and defended all of them. As we all know, it's always a "bad omen" when a creator attacks his fanbase because they are disappointed. And Gaiman went the route of Disney Star Wars, Amazon's RoP, Netflix's The Witcher, and their shill media cohorts by bashing a sizeable portion of the people who filled his coffers and gave him an exceptional quality of life. In my opinion the show was mediocre at best, which was heartbreaking. And now, I see this hypocrisy as the nail in the coffin. It's so weird how the left routinely eats itself. Years ago, I told my young liberal niece, who is now starting to lean right in her twenties, that the ouroboros - a snake eating its own tail - perfectly encapsulates the extreme leftist ideology. Thankfully, she started to understand my meaning while she was in college.

"his sexual assault of two young girls..." One was 20, the other was 23. You attack media for not reporting and covering up but this pendulum swing doesn't help, is hardly fair and accurate reporting. While once in awhile you say "alleged" your overall form here has him guilty, even guiltier than the allegations because you do your own add-ins. Not saying Gaiman did nothing but damn...how about responsible presentation? It's incredibly easy to trash lives and careers as we can see from what the woke folks are doing. Proof Gaiman has no problem feeling above the law? He ignored COVID travelling regs once. Yeah, that seals it. Come on. Let's not contribute to this form of social media. If Gaiman is guilty of sexual assault, it'll come out in the news. It has with bigger names that his and then people can gleefully dance all over his name. Because trashing people we dont know is such fun.

Gonna wait for the evidence to come out or at least real legal investigations. When I was younger Donald Trump held me at knife point and forced me to eat a whole orange without peeling it first, he then said he was jealous of my hair style and shaved my head, school made fun of me for weeks for being bald.

What a bust. I only recently rejoined Tumblr in Sept. and have been following Gaiman for the last couple months, happy when people asked him about writing advice. But the joke was always when people would ask him about social media and shit. "Neil Gaiman has no social media." Well he certainly doesn't now! It must be serious if no one is reporting it, but then again what happened with the Epstein situation, how'd that break to the public? The only thing i rolled my eyes at for this was the New Zealand controversy. Like bruh, if he and his whatever lady were going at it, let him leave. Quarantining was a thing back then anyway

So I wanted to bring up a point. I've noticed a lot of people have been coming out with allegations in the last decade or so, usually with 20 or so years between the incidents and the charges. Is there a statute of limitations on these charges? It feels like they wait for a good amount of time to lapse almost in a hope that the person charged might have forgotten what exactly happened during the exchanges. It happens with actors, musicians, etc. and it feels like the entire intent is to capitalize on their fame. Sort of "I want money and I can force it out of celebrity X since they hugged me 15 years ago." I'm not advocating actions with bad intentions but I feel people can get star struck and go with things sort of spur of the moment, then years later hoping to cash in once the celebrity has risen in status. If Lady Gaga asked to kiss me I don't think I'd say no, but also in 20 years I wouldn't accuse her of forcing herself on me. There's one underground comedian I know of who if the fan is under the age of say 21 or so he will not pose with his arm around them in photos for just such a reason (which is smart in his defense). My point is why wait so many years to file a motion when it could be filed right after the event? In standard r*pe or harassment cases the charge is usually placed at the local police station right after the incident, yes? It feels like lately all it comes down to is a celebrity cash grab.

Sad. He did a couple of book signings at the Borders Books in the WTC before it was destroyed. He was always very gracious and pleasant to the fans that showed up and would go past his time to keep answering questions. That got a little bothersome on the nights we employees were trying to close the store but beyond that the only problem was some of the fans were a tad obnoxious. I was the Literature/Genre manager and we sold lots of his novels and Sandman, of course. Amazingly, I haven't read any of his books or watched any media adaptations.

There’s all kinds of people trying to spin this or hush this up for numerous reasons, on both political ends of the spectrum. Reminds me when he announced his divorce and said, “I fucked up”. Everyone was quick to pounce on his ex because at one point she had declared that their relationship was somewhat open. The comments were all, “This is what you get when you let people rail your wife.” And I remember thinking… That’s now how that works.
