    Now I know why Tennant came back for Dr Who. Him and RTD drank the same cool aid. At this point I'm thinking Christopher Eccleston saved his career long term by dipping out after 1 season. Comments like David 10" and John Barrowman mooning people... It sounds like behind the scenes the production was walking the edge of a lawsuit so they got rid of the 'problem people. Or normal people as we now know them.

He had some of the best scripts, and started out strong, but, by the end of his second season, it had devolved into woke trash, and his third season was virtually unwatchable. History check. During the 60s civil rights for marginalized people was co-opted by white liberals which turned into the hippy culture. Did you once ever see hippies behave by their own rules? They wore garments based on indigenous america/africa/asian peoples like a costume. They gave themselves names based on indigenous american cultures without understanding the heritage behind it. They preached of love and togetherness as a front for pushing a heavily sexualized and substance abusing culture. They were the definition of cultural appropriation and degeneracy while masquerading as heroes. And now we are living through it again with their grandchildren.

    They shouldn't be rebooting the HP franchise. It's going to split the fan base between those who are OK with it being rebooted & those who hold the 8 films in glory. Instead, they should do a TV series based on the Hogwarts: Legacy storyline from the game. It's an AMAZING story, very well-written with VERY good characters and has EVERYTHING that made HP a successful franchise in the first place: - Special protagonist born with special powers - Based at Hogwarts School - Includes special older teachers/guides - Central villain out to destroy the world - All the same locations in HP that ppl love Meanwhile, it doesn't interfere with the HP storyline one bit. But gives old & new generations the ability to fall in love with new characters & a new story with new toys/merchandise.

    I don't know. I, for one, welcome it. Apart from the fact that they can put all the missed details back in - if 1 season = 1 book, they have a lot more time to tell everything that is in the books. And, I have been trying for a while now to begin to watch the films. Although I thought that Danial Radcliffe developed into a decent actor, whenever I see his and Emma Watson's face on the DVD case, I can't help but think of their toadying and disloyalty. As I've said before, they didn't have to agree with J.K. Rowling (the person ultimately responsible for the fame, money and lifestyle they now enjoy), but they didn't need to throw her under the bus either.

Others stated that Timeless Children was the final deathstroke. Anything else is just a waste at this point. I barely hear anybody ever talk much about DW. That isn't bigotry, either. It's just poor writing and direction. I remember the first episodes of 2005 DW where the stories were serious, creepy at times but good, while still having a small charm, drama, and curiosity. I don't see that anymore, especially with what it's become now.

    @normalaird826223 күн бұрын

    I am SO Sorry 🙏, but this is going to be a long one. Then again, it is a very nuanced subject, but apologies in advance. On one hand, I can understand David Tennant wanting to protect and understand what one of his children is going through. On the other hand, all this with J.K. Rowling is absurd - I don't claim to know everything she has said, but I did find out as much as I could before even deciding whether it was bigoted or not - I would suggest that, instead of just taking someone's word that her comments were bigoted and transphobic (I'm sorry, but I always thought a phobia was an irrational fear of something, so this genuinely confuses me. Anyway...), you take some time, looking at what was actually written, and decide whether you agree or not. No matter how you feel about it, I thought it was absolutely disgusting the way that, on the 20th Anniversary "Get Together", the woman who actually created this world, who made stars and millionaires out of the main characters, was actually omitted - no they don't have to believe the same thing but, then again, they didn't have to say anything and throw her under the bus, Even if they didn't agree with her, did they have to say anything? (Emma Watson's jibe was particularly odious). If someone had asked me in a similar position, I would have said something along the lines of "well she has her views, I have mine. We may agree or disagree, but I am still happy to be a part of what she created" The problem is, it seems to be all or nothing with some people. Sorry, life doesn't work in black and white, there are thousands of colours out there. And too many actors think their view is important, instead of realising that the only reason people like them is because they played a great character. Anyway, I used to share a female dressing room with a Trans Woman. I never gave it a second thought, and it never bothered me because I treated her as individual - I may have reacted differently with someone else. But, when I heard what she had gone through to get to where she was (she lost her entire family, none of her old friends wanted to know her any more, the procedures she had undergone, the abuse she had received, etc. - it was heart-breaking what she went through), I knew she wasn't going to go through all of that just to "perv" on me - seriously, me in my underwear was not something you really WANTED to see. She was an absolutely lovely human being, not aggressive like some of them are, and treated everyone with respect. I would also like to note that she was a woman who transitioned in her 30s or 40s, not a child by any means. I also have a Trans Niece. For 20 odd years of her life, I have known her as a boy, and called her by a boys name which means I can sometimes slip up and call her by her "dead name" unintentionally, as do her parents. If I do this, and apologise, she tells me not to worry. I know it hurts her, and I would never do it intentionally, but she realises that I am not doing it out of malice or because I refuse to see her in the way she feels most comfortable with. She also took it slow - told the family that she would like to be known by a different gender and name, then, after a period of time, asked the family if they would be okay seeing her in women's clothes, etc. - to be honest, she spends most of her time in her room when there are a large number of people around (that can be anywhere from 6 upwards). She also "hates" herself - she often says derogatory things about herself, which absolutely breaks my heart. I guess what I am trying to say is, there are some who are in genuine pain, but they are drowned out by, and lumped in with, those who are now trying to tell you what you can watch (No Harry Potter, or you're a bigot!?!), what you can read (you should actually be burning your Harry Potter books!?!), and what YOU should be doing IN YOUR OWN HOME (as in Hogwart;s Legacy Game) - am using these examples because of the subject matter of the video, but I'm sure you understand that there are many more examples of this kind of thing, and there is word for that. They want the whole world to change for them, they act abrasively aggressively, and quite frankly, in a way that I wouldn't accept from anybody - straight, gay,... Why should I accept it from them? My main concern is that, you now have biological males, some who do the bare minimum, who want to invade all areas of female activity (I even saw one who did absolutely nothing at all (with stubble) complaining, on social media, that people were bigoted because he wanted to use the ladies bathroom, and someone objected), Female sports, female safe spaces (including resources for those who have suffered DV and SA), and areas where they are taking away every single right a woman has these days. i.e. - As mentioned, nearly every female category in sport has a Trans woman who want to compete in the female category. The cycling body introduced a Trans category, which one Trans woman refuse to use, entered in the female category and surprise, surprise won (those who finished in the other podium places refuse to go out for the medal ceremony and photocall. Funny that you never get Trans men wanting to compete with biological males - it's because they know that actual biology counts. There was an instance of a Trans woman entering a beauty pageant, the winner received a scholarship for college and surprise, surprise the Trans woman won. Now there are some very beautiful Trans women out there but, I am sorry to say, that a biological woman who had the body shape that this winner had would not have won, at that time (we all know that the world is getting more and more accepting so, maybe, they would now). So, all these biological women, who entered this pageant lost out on a scholarship to a biological male. There have been a few cases now where certain kinds of offenders have been placed in a women's prison, only to do the same thing while in prison. They only have to make the bare minimum effort, SAY they identified as female, and their welfare outdoes a woman's. In other words approx. 50% of the population of the planet has too be pushed aside and disregarded because approx.

    1:32 Rowling has told conservatives who agree with her on the trans women are real women issue that she doesn't want their help and she can do fine on her own. She's about as hard-core Lefty as you can get except for this one issue.

    yes, J k Rowling needs to ditch Labour, and she will likely have to after this election because they ARE going to enforce more of the TG agenda on school kids and define men in a frock as women for access to womens and girls spaces.

    J. K. Rowling is too liberal, but at least she managed to tell an entertaining story. However, her comments about her characters OUTSIDE of the books was a mistake. She didn't put that nonsense in the books. She should have had the courage to just not say it at all.

  • @tomnorton4277

    Saying it took A LOT more courage than staying quiet. Know why? Because Rowling knew the media would NOT support her. If they supported her trans views, she wouldn't be risking anything but by going against the tide, which she's been consistently doing for years at this point, she's painted a huge target on her back.

    4:36 you lead to a claim that there is only one black politician in the Houses of Parliament. No. Britain, unlike America, has had a long history of not restricting by race. The first non-white MP was an Indian who was with the Conservative party back in the late 1800s. Look, Mr Arroz, your points in this video are well made, but don't confuse Britain with America when it comes to racial attitudes.

    America had black republicans in congress during the post civil war era, the first black US senator was Hiram Rhodes Revels in 1870. Britain had no racial restrictions because you had no one to restrict, you were a mostly racially homogenous country until the 1950’s when you open your doors to mass immigration from India and the Caribbean. The American slave plantations and white supremacy culture started when America was a British colony, those southern slave drivers who lived in Posh houses had ties to the British aristocracy. Britain ended slavery first, you weren’t knee deep in it.
