The rails are very useful and practical to hold pieces to the table. they are often used quite a bit once machined. Thanks and best regards Nick.

I love all the various clamps, parallels, angle brackets and etc that have been made in house to do the various jobs. It gives us fellow machinists good ideas for various set ups.

You do impressive boring mill work. What kind of boring mill is yours? I just bought my self a Gidding &Lewis 25T

That final assembly is a monster. It has so many operations it must take hundreds of hours of machining. That big boring mill is still doing terrific work. Are you training some new poeple?

Impresionantes acabados , después de mandrinar los agujeros. Qué Vc utilizas en los taladrados?. Veo que la cuchilla de mandrinar es de acero rápido, que Vc utilizas. Excelente trabajo. Y para terminar que Vc con el plato para el planeado?. Perdona tanta pregunta, pero quiero aprender. Gracias.

Para el acabado se utiliza un cabezal de mandrinar con avance de precision. En sus puntas se colocan plaquitas de corte rectificadas y especiales para acero inoxidable con lo cual se consigue un acabado fino y brillante. Cuando se trabaja con acero inoxidable y tenemos que hacer agujeros de gran diametro es necesario iniciar primero con brocas de menor tamaño debido a lo duro y correoso de este metal. Sería bueno también que compartas las velocidades de corte y profundidad de corte

What grade of stainless steel is that ? Very nice finish in the bores.

Stainless steel is of the Austenitic type: it has a nickel content of more than 7%, between 16 to 28% of chromium content, and a very low carbon content, which makes it very resistant to corrosion, having a good malleability and weldability and excellent mechanical properties.Thank you and best regards friend.

La maquina donde van acopladas estas piezas es una perfiladora.Y es toda ella de acero inoxidable por lo que el coste solo de material es elevado.Por estas maquinas pasan los lingotes de acero candente que les van dando forma.Gracias por el apoyo y un saludo amigo.

En el mercado de segunda mano existen bastantes modelos de esta máquina que es la JUARISTI MDR-110 y dependiendo de su estado de conservacion se pueden conseguir a buen precio. En la red existe bastante información sobre ella. Gracias y un saludo amigo.

Es un aceite refrigerante diluible en agua en una proporcion aproximada de entre un 4% y 8%.Un saludo amigo.

what is cutting speed for stainless steel in drilling & milling ??

There are tables of revolutions and advances with different types of materials but it is a reference that may vary. Generally, when working with stainless steel these parameters are greatly reduced compared to carbon steel as it is a hard and leathery material. There are many variables and it all depends on the conditions of the piece and the cutting tool with which you are working. As an approximate reference I would tell you between 50% and 70% less.u

Es un cabezal de mandrinado de precision.Incorpora un nonium donde se le va dando medida a la cuchilla de corte, centesima a centesima.
