This story really touched me. Because growing up I have been experiencing the same like where I would work with my mom outside. And I remember how my schoolmates used to make fun of me That times I used to feel angry and frustrated as well. But I loved my mom no matter what and helped her. I study abroad now. And my mom still says how she is grateful that i worked hard helped her. But actually I am more grateful to have a mom who did her best to feed me dress me and send me abroad😢❤. Everything would be different if everyone would be more kind and compassionate

Funny thing is I’ve never been embarrassed to go thrifting… you can find the brands you like for more than half the price of at retail in mint condition… it was like the fun in shopping with my mom growing up. I went back home for the holidays for the first time in 3 years (since the pandemic) and for the two weeks I went thrifting and discount shopping and it was so much fun….

I am currently hot-gluing and bedazzling the best used underwear I could afford at the local Goodwill and I am planning to rent a booth to sell them at the local swap meet this weekend! when i was a child, i loved going to the swap meet. my dad would take me and my sibling all the time. because we didn’t have enough, but no matter what, i was happy, i got to spend time with my dad. when i grew up, my dad didn’t have a lot of time, since when i was a kid, he was a stay at home dad. ever since he got a job, he worked 6 days a week. but no matter what, i was happy and was never embarrassed. ( plus, they had a lot of good toys too, haha)
