I'm an introvert and a very quiet person around other people I agree that it takes the right person and the right topic to get me to talk and there's nothing wrong with that. I consider this video a giant win for introverts everywhere.

Same for me!! I don't know anyone around me and that's why I'm quiet, if you have a conversation with me and get to know me better, I'll definitely be less quiet! I think people should try and start conversations more with each other tbh, there's a lot of great people that just don't get to talk to people as much

(@Simslover163's Animation Universe) I totally agree! I'm kind of tired of ppl asking me in school why am I so quite, why I never talk and all.. They don't understand me, I wasn't always quite like that, after 2 years in the lockdown without actually talking face to face with any of the friends, only chatting online, and also some salty ppl making me feel bad about myself, I don't have the courage to talk with anyone now. I can only talk to those who are super close to me - Like family, relatives, neighbours, cousins. I don't like the new me either, but I don't know how to change myself again. There's hardly 2 ppl in my class I talk to, because I feel comfortable with them. You know, I also have these 2nd thoughts in my mind always like when I'm about to say anything, these thoughts come in my mind examples : "What If what i'm gonna say look cringe?" "I'm gonna make a total fool of myself If I say that.." "What if everyone laughs.." "What if this changes the thoughts of people about me.. make me look bad infront of them?" And than I end up not saying it :(

Me to. I’m comfortable around people I know like my close family and close friends and not so comfortable around people I’m not close with/don’t know, even if that includes old friends, classmates, and teachers. I agree so much with Dhar and I’m happy he made this video!

Clara is absolutely adorable and plus i love quiet people theyre so magnificent just because theyre not talkative doesnt mean theyre not awesome they're fantastic people

Most people in general are only willing to be themselves and opening up around those they trust or make them feel comfortable and included. Even outspoken people don’t like interacting with people who are rude or intimidating.

Social skills require speaking AND listening. You need to have both! Period. People who run their mouth but never listen to anything others say usually live in their own world and never acknowledge anyone or anything else. That’s considered poor social skills too.

As someone who is almost always quiet, I know what it feels like trying to fit in. And If anyone tries to pick on you for being quiet, don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself.

What matters is how you think, not how many words you say. Some people (including myself) don’t talk much during the first few days of school. However, I always try to help others to give them a good impression. I also try to always give the best answers I could in class when I’m answering my teacher’s questions. Im so quiet at school, I get bullied for being quiet all the time at school, yet when I'm sitting alone singing by myself, my friends are always around and say I have a beautiful singing voice! Keep up the great work!!

The same people who accuse people of being “too quiet”, are usually the same ones who never put in the effort to try to be nice and talk to them to make them feel comfortable.

I was always the quiet/shy person in school too. There are so many mean people who love to hone in on us to try to humiliate and try to make themselves seem better. Problem is with them, not anyone else. I may not talk up like some, but there's plenty going on in my head. Clara has such a beautiful singing voice!

I agree 1000%. I was quiet when I was younger and still am sometimes. People don’t get it. They’re very capable of opening up and being outgoing. Just only around people they trust AND whose who are friendly and inclusive.
