@@M3lissaCottage not really, the scene focuses on Gretchen and Regina’s relationship. The dance only went wrong because Regina started favoring Cady over Gretchen, which only got worse after Cady saves the dance and Regina tells Gretchen that fetch is never going to happen.

Ah yes, 2004, when Lindsey Lohan was about to have the career Emma Stone ultimately had, Mel Gibson was an Oscar winning national treasure, Ben Affleck was a cinematic pariah, M Night Shyamalan was about to become the next Spielberg.....and America would never, ever, in a million years see a worse Republican president than George W Bush.

I hated how Cady had to take all the fault in the film even for the Burn Book when Regina was the one who should have taken accountability, honesty and responsibility for the things Cady was framed for
