    I'd like to challenge you! As a student I only have a microwave, an electric stove and an electric kettle in my little studio. Could you maybe do a meal prep with just these appliances? It'd be nice to have some ideas that I can actually try out myself.^^

    I recommend going on Pintrest, there are some really fun meal prep ideas. One of my favorites is instant soup in a jar where you prep your veggies, add soup base, noodles, and when you're ready to eat it- add hot water from your kettle and you have instant soup to go. There are a lot of variations on it, great for a student on-the-go :)

    Well, I have insulin resistence. Blood test showed three times more insulin than it should be. My body just cannot process all the carbs. So, you know my diet is not just for good looks, it's for me not to develop 2 type diabetes. And my research ended up with all the same my doctor told me.

    It's so weird to hear that your body responds well to dairy and high fat meals because that's the exact opposite of me, any dairy/fatty foods bloat me and make me sick and I'm a vegetarian! Just goes to show everyone's bodies are very different especially given your PCOS. Hope this type of diet works for you and I love your videos x

    that's because you are no longer accustomed to those foods. i used to consume a lot of dairy and my dietician told me some people break out with dairy. the moment i stopped my skin cleared up a lot. now every time i do drink milk (once in a blue moon), i always get a tummy ache, because my body is no longer accustomed to it. the same with red meat. i used to eat it twice or thrice a week and i now i eat it like.... maybe once every three months and i always regret it because my body is no longer accustomed to digesting it. people that stop eating things for longer periods of time have to deal with the idea that their body will take a while to get accustomed to them again.

    Jessie Caldwell-Kenny I can't have dairy product either mostly because we are not meant to be consuming dairy products now that we are weened of are mums like a dog for example they are only meant to have milk when babies then when they get older they get sick if they do have dairy same for all mammals ☺️

    we are not supposed to but that's beside the point. if people drink milk their whole life they will drink it their whole life and that's it. i know old people that drank it all the time and have no major problems. sure they should actually do without it, but again that's beside the point.

  • @jessiecaldwell-kenny5228

    @jessiecaldwell-kenny5228

    i think what she's saying is that the human body isn't accustomed to dairy because our bodies don't require it for nutrition. That's why the majority of people breakout, get bloated, sick etc from eating it. I know plenty of people who are healthy and eat dairy but i also know plenty of people that eat bacon, or fatty potato chips, and are still fine.. so it's still obviously not too healthy for human consumption. not terrible, but still.

    Have you considered using a wooden cutting board? Stone will dull your knives and cutting the simplest things such as herbs will be a struggle. You probably use (looks like marble) for aesthetic reasons. I get it. It's pretty. But just not great for knives.

    s scott I have a wooden cutting board but also have a plastic one. Does plastic dull the knives? I feel like the wood sometimes soaks up some of the food that I cut (like juice from an onion or apple, etc) and I don't want there to be any remnants from old food.

    Hi Rachel, been watching all your food preps, they are so inspirational! 😍 I tried low-carb a couple of years ago cause mostly carbs made me really tired and bloated, and while those definitely deminished while I was in low-carb, I couldn't continue my running exercise because I became so out of breath so fast I had to add carbs back. Are you having any same issues and how can I avoid that if I try low-carb again? :)
