People have been saying Tyler Perry paid them their worth well before Monique. She’s the only person to this day that said Tyler Perry did her wrong👀. Monique beef was with Lee Daniel. It was his project and then Oprah and Tyler jumped on the movie so I’ve always felt like they just inherited his wrong doings.

Acting is "gig" work. No different than our regular jobs. We switch jobs as actor's/actresses switch roles. The only difference is that their job is highlighted as being better and more glamorous because the media portrays they are better than us because they're on TV and movies...but they are switching jobs and fighting for more money like the rest of us.

Taraji co signed this also... It's unfortunate how so many ladies are awesome actresses and are underpaid.

Tyler doesn’t pay his writers what they deserve. He’s been in lots of battles with the Writers Guild of America. He may have changed his tune, but he was notorious for abusing them and not paying them.

Great interview

Although she is not a heavy hitter in the field she is a very well known actress. This interview definitely made me respect her and her craft. At least she’s not avoiding these interviews due to misquotes etc. and is speaking intelligently about what’s going on. TP does cast well and I see why he uses Meagan. She’s a real one!
