I met Meagan at the cheesecake factory at the grove in LA. She was the sweetest person I'd ever met. I was struggling with suicidal thoughts at that time and nobody in my life knew it. She prayed for me and no joke I felt the demons tormenting me raddle and shake. On my way home I felt those demons leave me. I've never once struggled with anxiety or suicidal thoughts ever since that day. So thankful to have met her. It was nobody but God. Thank you Meagan for being available to God and hearing from Him to pray for me and being used by Him to deliver me. To say I greatly appreciate you is an understatement. I pray you're blessed 1000x what I was that day. 🙏🏿❤️

I met her once 10 years ago in an Atlanta club. We were in the same section, so I decided to approach her because I truly loved her as an actress. I very discreetly asked her if she was Meagan Good and she said yes! Discovering that, I was so excited inside but I could tell she wanted to stay lowkey so I basically left her alone. As the club was closing and everyone was walking out, she was about to walk past me and I asked to take a picture with her. Not only was she down to take the picture but she thanked me for providing her that discretion of not letting others know she was there and that sometimes she just wants to feel like everyone else and have a good time. Truly a beautiful and humble person!

Years later I was at an intersection and she was about to make a right turn and she waved at me and motioned me to go as I had the right away. I got to work with her for a few weeks on a show she directed and was so impressed by how cool and poised she is. Literally the first thing she did was walk up to every person working the show introduce herself, asked us what we did and thanked us for being there. She was literally super friendly, professional and receptive to ideas that helped the show progress. Being a living legend Meag definitely didn't have to be that way. Protect her at all cost!!

My favorite Meagan Good role was Eve's Bayou❤I remember being a little girl and being completely shocked at how she was acting. She was fantastic in that movie!

Classy! So many can learn from her. She’s so elegant! Didn’t talk down about anyone! Kept her personal feelings about people to herself, basically saying “it doesn’t concern me, nor my life “… she’s such a grace, I pray she continues to elevate. We love you , girl!

I had the pleasure of meeting Megan during Essence weekend at my job and I must say she’s very Humble, super sweet and even more beautiful in person 🥰..I enjoyed this interview ♥️

So happy to see her interviewed finally this deeply..

I’m another here vouching for her kindness. Both she and her sister visited a school where I worked, and they were both very kind and friendly. Also, I knew she was pretty, but she is absolutely STUNNING in person!

This is the first time i saw in the comments, nothing but praise for a person. That speaks volumes in this day and age of the internet. I love this.

A have a whole different view of her, just to hear her speak about her life and being so humble, thank you for your interview 😊

Im sooo happy to see her back in the spotlight and on the screens!! 😍

Shannon is the only interviewer who allows interviewees to speak and fully respond to questions.

It’s amazing how Shannon educates himself so well about his guest. Even things that they don’t remember 😅 Meagan is beautiful, her personality seems down to earth and kind❤

She's my exact same age, looks amazing, and has accomplished so much in her life. Very inspiring!

I loved Eve's Bayou...it's still one of my favorite movies ever. She was sooo good in that film. She doesn't get the credit she deserves for how poignant her portrayal was at such a young age. I know Jurnee Smollett was the main character, but Megan blew me away too!

Great interview!! If I didn't love Meagan Good before I would love her now. Beautiful spirit! I saw her last weekend at Essence and I observed her interactions with the people in the crowd. She is definitely a sweet, down to earth, and genuine person. Meagan is the real deal. I wish her nothing but the best!!

I really didn't know much about Meaghan other then she's a beautiful actress, but this interview really made me see what an amazing journey she's had to get to where she is now . Also i didn't realize how likeable she is . Another epic episode from club shay shay.

I had no idea Meagan was so real and down to earth. Love her maturity and honesty. I did not see this interview coming. ❤

I was married and divorced....i understand exactly what she's talking about....and we are the best of friends to this day....Its so awesome how we grow up mentally and spiritually....I wish her nothing but the best....especially with her walk with God.....Faith is everything to be navagated in your walk with God is such a beautiful thing❤

Love her so much! I had the opportunity to meet Meagan years ago at a church service. We had a very sweet and brief conversation. She was very engaging and asked me how I was doing. By far one of the best public figures that I have ever met. ❤
