Framus on strums, Samus on drums

Most guitarists who get signatures made: "This guitar is fine tuned, to replicate my sound and be as delicate as possible while doing so." Devin Townsend: "My guitar is a truck". God I love him so.

Yes, he left another company who wouldn’t make his guitar specifically how he wanted and moved to a high-end custom shop in Framus to ignore the specs.

Really like the direction you've gone with that Sig Model. That is actually something new and refreshing. Good thinking all around - well done. And yes, I own a Framus, and have on and off since the early 1970's. They do make very nice instruments : )

It's not just a guitar,it's a work of art,and I hope to own one one day .

Pretty cool that one can choose the color on those custom shop signature guitars.

The guitar with the smoke machine is the Zeltoid Flying V. The guitar he said would be ugly is the Koa centre, sparkle purple outer Stormbender he described being possible.

Dev seems so relaxed and comfortable here. I think he often feels like he has to entertain, when he’s in front of a camera

I’ve had that experience with my Dean ML active pickups as well. Batteries as they pertain to musical equipment are stuck in the 80’s I tell you 😂

it's called someone didn't proof it before they released it. Or they did and no one paid attention. I would never let my videos sound like that.

Likely it was a recording issue and rather than fixing it by making it mono they kept it stereo. Maybe they assumed because it was a musician we needed two hear each speaker exclusively? Not sure. (Sorry if my terms are off, but you should get the idea)

I have a framus les paul made in West Germany. I got it for 100$ from this dude who was low on cash. Really heavy, but plays very good. I put some Seymore Duncan's JB6 and SH2 humbickers. Amazing sound.

If the lower horn was not so stubby. Anybody agree? This guitar is beautiful though. I have found that when that lower horn is too small or stubby, the guitar does not stay on the lap really well.

I'm not really one for 'Strat-shaped' guitars, but holy shit. The Stormbender is literally one of the most sexiest guitars I've ever seen in my life. That, and all of its practicalities would suit my playing in recent times also. Shame they cost almost 10Gs but, we all need dreams, right? Absolutely gorgeous guitar.

Reminds me of Gibson ripping people off with over priced guitars. I'm not saying they shouldn't be worth a small premium but I've played guitars less that 500 quid which has sounded ten fold better and for a lil more money you can just update a few things. I'd take a grestch jet duo over a les paul easily any day and it's less than half the price.

I have a Jackson soloist, Schecter 7 string, and a PRS SE baritone, love them all, they were all affordable, they all sound great, and those are my go-to/ workhorse guitars! Edit: wrong model of Jackson.

Given that the guitar is a mishmash of different ideas, the carbon fiber insert is most likely inspired by the Majesty.

Would have been nice to hear it being played

I want a Stormbender so bad but don’t know if I can give up 10,000-15,000 CAD for a Master built. It may even be more than that by now.

So, $10,000 for the custom, $6000 for the team, and I can assume $2000 for the "affordable" model, which will no doubt be sans Fishman and Evertune, which are the key draws for the guitar.

Yea me too i dunno why though, i thought it was ugly as sinned when i first saw it, maybe it just grew on me, i feel the same way about the stormbender, and maybe it will also be cool in a year or so! Devin should get Framus to send out a bunch to some youtubers, get us really hooked but I suspect Music Man is pushing the general public more than Framus is with this guitar so Framus probably doesnt care. Both ooze quality though, it a shame we can only get that at thier price range.

My anus hurts. I sold my body to get the money. But(t) it wasn’t enough. So I started listen to Dream Theater and going to buy a Music Man which looks very similar. It’s a pitty they don’t make the teambuild in this awesome grey/blue
