We took a trip last weekend up to Dorchester County, MD to fish for snakehead Lowland Outfitters. They day started off a bit cold and rainy and the bite was rather difficult. However, in the end, both Jess and I managed to put one in the kayak!
Our guide, Damien Cook, was recently crowned the Maryland state record holder for Northern Snakehead that is also the pending IGFA world record. He caught a massive 21 lb, 36" beast July 5th, 2023 on a lure that he designed and we used to catch our own snakeheads.
