Good luck! Just remember to take a step back and breathe. The application cycle is a long process so you have to make sure that you avoid burning out!

I forgot exactly when my invite was received but I think I interviewed February and found out 2-3 weeks later. I just remember it was near the end of interview season

Just as someone who also got a 506, did you get accepted to UMiller with the 506 or did you only get accepted after you retook the MCAT and informed them that you received a 511? Asking because I'm in the same situation and I am not sure if I should retake the MCAT or not. Great videos by the way!

I’m not sure if people break it down by semester, most people refer to each block/section. You have the first summer off, but then you start clinicals during your second summer. I could be wrong though since I just started 😅

I didn’t. I went to school at Johns Hopkins but was a California resident.

Congrats on getting accepted (your boyfriend as well!). Could you provide more info about the joint program at Miami? I can't find anything about it online and my boyfriend and I are also applying together this cycle with hopes of going to the same school or at least in the same region.

It’ll just be a question in the secondary application and I believe they ask you to email them each other’s AMCAS ID. I’m not sure how it actually works but it’s something!

Hi! Just to let you know, Puerto Rico schools are all LCME US accredited schools. They follow all regulations as any mainland US schools.

@@seeMD I understand that you were worried about the barriers, but PR schools are different from Caribbean schools. PR schools are considered US MD medical schools, whereas Caribbean schools are considered IMGs. Just wanted to clarify 😊
