MCS- People with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (Part 2 from 2)

A presentation of a support group for MCS patients from GERMANY (based on the situation of affected people in Germany).
Forgotten people are speaking out: People with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS)
Part 2 / Focus: MCS diagnostic criteria, patient short stories, fragrances (health/environment).
In an effort to raise awareness, those affected have taken International MCS Day as an opportunity to create a presentation on MCS. This should ( independent of the date of the "International Day (12.05.)") provide information about MCS and the situation of those affected. In this way, a better level of understanding should be made possible, but also general information about MCS should be provided. As the exemplary real cases with affected persons of different age and occupational groups make clear: it can affect everybody! Probably many people have corresponding irritating symptoms without knowing that the disease has a name: MCS.
This is the supplementary part 2 of the presentation with the following contents: Embedded in exemplary real cases, the characteristic features of MCS are presented. In addition to the MCS diagnostic criteria, the fragrance issue is also outlined. And this under the perspectives of MCS, health and environmental care.
In the more comprehensive Part 1 of the presentation, the following topics are included: Short overview of MCS and the frequent comorbidities EHS, FMS and CFS. The focus is on testimonials from sufferers, who also speak out themselves. Finally, the presentation contains an appeal for support of MCS sufferers, but also exemplary suggestions HOW MCS sufferers can be supported - by employers - decision makers - in personal contact.
