Geez I feel old... I began with Minecraft Lite, then when I bought it, I had 0.4 or near. Every update was the most exciting thing ever for a 12-14 year old me. 😂 Real OGs remember there being no caves...just hand-dug 1x2 tunnels...cobblestone for days.

I started at 0.7.1. It was so simple and barley had anything. Now it's literally the full Minecraft on your freaking phone with at least 55fps for me. It's pretty insane now. I miss the alpha versions tho (0.1 - 0.16). PE felt way more unique back then.

Agreed. I’ve started playing at 1.0. I was 10, and I played the game every day when I came back from school. It felt so exciting, simple and overall, fun. I played with my siblings and still remember building a nether reactor core and accidentally activating it. And now we have a full fledged PC version on your phone. It really changed.

Noah R Nah, this is what I've always wanted since I started playing PE. People been asking back then that PE should have all the items, mobs, and features from the PC, even though it looked impossible at that time. (I never expected the Nether/Ender to be actually added in MCPE) Now that we have like almost everything from the PC version, people suddenly missed the older versions of MCPE.

In the older version when i was small I remember that i can duplicate diamonds and irons

I started playing on 0.1.0 which is going to be a decade this year. I have still stuck with Minecraft till this day except nowadays I play on Java. I still have pe downloaded on my phone. Knowing I’ve played minecraft almost every day for a decade gives me a sense of pure joy I can not explain in words. I’ve loved the game since I first played it in 2011 and I continue to love it now.

One of the alphas with the stone menu with the block. Who remembers when you had to put your stuff in chests to keep it safe in multiplayer. Who remembers when you could take other peoples map, it was so glitchy. The good old days.

Remember when you couldn’t blow up TNT in creative until the “big update” as we called it. Exploding TNT in creative, railways, more spawns, and red stone were introduced in that update. I still think about it every day, and that day totally changed my life

I dont remember the version i downloaded but it was in year 2016 but i starded with the version 0.8 and it was in the christmasholyday i think it was the 24th idk

I started 0.7.4... When I used to destroy blocks using cobblestone in creative... and built a hotel using nether reactor cores and waters over the hotel... Oh! And the stonecutter v 1.0, ahhhh those old days. And also I used to play on my sister's tablet to play .12 alpha...

I remember my first night in 0.4... The lighting mechanics made it super dark at night!

I first played on PE Demo 0.1 then my dad bought Mcpe for me (0.1 btw) , i still enjoy minecraft for ever! 2015 was the year that Minecraft began to Shine, features and features was added :D

Idk what version I started, but I remember how it was. You were in survival, and had hearts, but you had infinite blocks, like the blocks had the infinity sign next to them. And if you left that world, you could never get it back. And don’t forget about the invisible wall 😂😂

When I got my tablet I bought Mcpe and joined at 0.10.0 but before that I had mcpe lite on my moms phone

I enjoy 1.8 aquatic update and pandas cats I have it

I remember making a thing with powered rails and the redstone block (this was before the Redstone update, when powered rails were always powered). I felt like I messed with minecraft because "I made a Redstone thing without redstone!"

Started with 0.3. Feels like an eternity ago. I was so cringey back then.
