I got this bag yesterday in Cognag colour. OMG I cant believe it the quality is 100% better than LV Neverfull. The hardware, the canvas and has base shaper on the bottom.. its super super recommended 👏👏 thank you for making this video..

I have the medium in the Black and kept the stickers on all the grommets and the square emblem on the front . No one will notice that...great presentation!

Joshie nooooo! This video makes me so sad but I love you so much for it. I need this preparation. It looks like they're starting to pull those LV tricks. Part of Why I love MCM more is that they had excellent quality and now I worry. Like I'm a bag STUFFER. I have the Patricia wallet on chain in red with 24k gold. I ordered the Black Liz and now I'm hoping the metals match. But mostly I really wish the pouch was still padded for the sake of my cell phones Time to go back to the website to obsess more. I think maybe the color of the metal is linked to the color of the bag. Maybe you can compare the same color in the new and old. But I think the thickness has changed for both. I have the new one on the red xl

I purchased the new powder pink Liz tote in medium recently and I love it, I now have 3 Liz totes in cognac and black as well. I might need to add one in this beige color....I love it especially since it’s not as common as the cognac or black ones. 💗

Hey Joshie! I have the black shopper tote and the metals are different on every bag! When buying my bag I was choosing in between the red and black and the red still has gold and the black is sort of a gunmetal! So it’s a difference only bc of the color

I realized with the new model of the Liz reversible bag in the powder pink color the new model has black design inside with the mcm logo in black the old model of the pink bag is brown with purple blueish logo inside just like how ur beige bag is

Debating on getting the Berlin gold one, it’ll be my first mcm bag

I just looked back at my Nordstrom purchase history and I bought my beige bag for $487. There must have been a sale going on at the time. I looked now and the price is up to $697 😳 Yikes!

Joshie Michael Well I’m Korean and I feel like I definitely should add a Korean brand bag to my collection… LOL! I totally agree with you regarding your point about quality and not caring about what people think because a lot of people that I’ve showed the MCM bag to don’t really love it but I actually think it looks really nice. You said in your video that it was lightweight. I do need a light weight to it because I’m a smaller person who cannot lift heavy totes. Would you say that it is lighter than the never full? Or about the same? I don’t own a never full but I was just curious.The other bag that I want to get is the Tory Burch clear Ella quadrant tote bag With the yellow logo because I think it would be very water resistant or waterproof and I think it is really cute I have a sporty style because I am a personal trainer so I don’t dress up very often.Do you know anything about the Tory Burch clear Ella tote? It’s a new tote for this summer and I believe that they are going to discontinue it after the summer. I would love your thoughts on that. I absolutely love your channel I think it is so entertaining and so informative! And also I do love your sense of style and your taste and handbags! The other bag I really really want is the black Gucci Marmont! Thanks so much for your content. One last thing, you provide all of us some excellent I candy to look at during your videos...😉

@@ExtraordinaryDanielle I'd say the weight is about the same really on both bags. Those Tory Burch totes are Garbage! They use fake leather trimmings that crack very quickly plus I think its absolutely hideous. 🤣 I've gotta be honest ya know! Thanks so much for watching and commenting I appreciate it very much! here because i just purchased the MCM Liz in beige and realized that there is no reversible interior even though it is marketed as reversible on MCM. So I guess more crack has been smoked between the time of this video is now. crack mixed with fentanyl. Not sure why they removed the interior from the beige!

I really enjoyed your video. The comparison was awesome! I wish I would’ve found this video before I passed up a Liz Shopper the other day. OMG it was 1/2 off at Nordstrom Rack. I just felt the quality seemed cheaper because of the way it can reverse? The ‘rubbery’ like fabric. So I looked the other way😭 I learned a hard lesson. Question for you, is the red the first year the Shopper was made? 2017? So interesting the differences then to now?

No the Liz has been around for awhile... they've made some slight changes over the years. I absolutely LOVE my 2017 Liz bags the Cognac & Ruby ones are by far the highest of quality however I'm not disappointed really with my others either. They are great bags that'll last a lifetime. @@JoshieMichael I came back to say that I got the newer version of this tote in the powder pink color way and I HATE ITTTTTTTTTT (the pouch not the purse in general). This pouch is sooooooooooo thin! I’m scared to cary it as a small clutch when going out because it’s soooooo flimsy! I’ve worn it once! I NEVER have this issue with my black pouch that I bought a couple years back! The newer one is just ughhhhhhhh.....

2 completely different bag styles, function and materials. MCM Liz totes are work horses and Goyard totes are for casual LIGHT items like a beach towel or a scarf. Hope this helps. ❤

I guess MCM downgraded the metal because, their competitor, Louis Vuitton- Neverfull which is more expensive but people still want to buy.

Nope! I don't have a single MCM SLGs at all... I think I have too many SLGs as it is so thats probably why I've never bothered adding MCM even though they are very nice for sure. Maybe I will eventually I still have a ton to sell though before I just keep adding and adding and adding! TFW 💜
