John, I just want to extend the thanks of the McLaren owner community (around the world) for your continued commitment to our cars and in particular diagnosing and sourcing solutions to “common” manufacturing design defects. For sure as owners, we are passionate about supporting the marque but many of us don’t have oligarch or tech entrepreneurs plump bank accounts and so your endeavours to find cost effective fixes is very much welcome.

I removed the wheels on the 12c last week, first thing I noticed was a broken spring on the front, was totally unaware prior to this. It’s broken in exactly the spot you pin point in the video. Thanks for all the brilliant work you do for Mclaren owners!

Thanks John. My springs broke on a 4 year old car. Unbelievable. Had many cars and never had spring issues. I was told it was a design issue - which was hard to accept by Mclaren. Anyway, great video and keep it up.

So many quality issues. It's not worth the headache to get a McLaren.
