    Thank you! Di water definitely helps. It depends how hard you're water is. Washing in shade helps. But in general you can get water spots various different ways out and about in the world. Best to catch it fast before they set in.

    This channel’s quality of work, attention to detail and precision is unmatched. Wow. Subscribed Let me ask this. Not a keyboard warrior. Does ikfoaming with Gyeon bathe leave any soap residue after wiping it off with the towel? If any, did it feel like clogging or interfering with your pad in your mild paint correction?

    Thank you! This is an older video but you'll love my newer ones if you like this one It can definitely leave some residue but that's why it's great to follow with panel prep like gyeon prep. It will definitely not interfere either way with polishing

    Awesome man! Wondering how you go about quoting something like this? I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to charge for polishing when I don’t know how many hours it will take

  • @STATUSDETAIL

    @STATUSDETAIL

    2 жыл бұрын

    If your curious for a general idea of what I charge you can jump on statusdetail.com and click bespoke packages. The hyper cars tend to go for the Drivers package plus or the bespoke status package. You should be charging whatever you feel your time is worth! So if you know what you like to make an hour and you know how long a normal car takes that's your starting point. Watch videos on the car your going to do and visualize how long it takes extra to do that crazy door or extra aero. Add that time/cost in to the normal price and you should be close. You might not get it right the first time. If you charge 2k for it and at the end you think you should have charged more... Raise the price for the same service on next one. Or charge sane amount for a slightly less labor intensive service. Like 2 step polish instead of 3 step. If you can do two normal cars in the time slot you put one car like this then you should charge accordingly. You don't want to lose money just because it's a more complicated detail!

    @@STATUSDETAIL Holy heck, I’ve never received a response so fast from someone! And a great response at that. I definitely have learned to charge more after feeling like I deserved more in certain situations. I have my hourly costs and feel like I have a reasonable hourly rate, but sometimes just overthink things I suppose. Thanks for the tips. Just found your channel and am already a huge fan. Stay consistent with the great content, think you’re gonna blow up soon!

    They definitely take a long time to add it and film. It's kind of funny since I started focusing on a very specific kind of format and only putting out one video or two videos a month I've started to get a lot of views. I used to post every week and that format didn't work as well but the content might not have been as good. I try to release amazing videos every time now and sometimes it'll take several weeks

    @@mohamedsow8935 it's been awhile since I made this video. It's not uncommon to wash the wheels outside in this situation as they dump a ton of dirt inside. So I'd rather have that dirt outside
