I remember hearing this song in the car with my Mamaw on our way to town. She would have have tears rolling down her face, one hand on the stirring wheel, and the other in the air. She died July 8, 2012, but it gives me great joy to watch this video and remember those times. I think if we were not it a confined space that she would have been praising Him like Peg does!!!

I grew up listening to “southern gospel” and this song has always been one of my favorites. I don’t remember the names of the ones in the group, but the woman who was clearly into it and trying to get the “audience” into it, too, is my favorite. She was obviously touched by the Spirit and was doing everything she could to share it. God bless her. I don’t know if she’s passed or if she’s still alive. If she’s passed, I’m sure she’s up there praising God the way she was here. If she is still here, she’ll be up there one day. ❤️

Ruben and Peg are husband and wife. Peg's sister, Carroll. Roger Fortner ( bass guitar) is married to their daughter Connie. Randall Hunley is playing piano. By the way Peg is the one with a handkerchief.

@@oksillsCarol is still alive and well. She’s actually traveling a little again and singing on her own. The oldest sister-Dora did pass away a couple of years ago. She was one of the founding members but hadn’t sang with them in probably 50 years.
