I listened to this song daily and prayed for my unborn baby boy. I spent 12 weeks before i had him in the hospital on bed rest. I had him at 37 weeks and although he was so sick by Gods grace my babt boy loved 3 whole months. The doctors didnt think he would. He surpassed so many obstacles and nothing but God let him cross those hurdles. When i am having a bad day i losten to this song and pray.

But God is bigger than all doubts and fears and the sadness that might come to steal the joy and peace He has for you...and the Lord gave you a very special blessing and even though your baby is no longer with you. He is a person and I do believe you will see him again.

I quit drugs because of this song. My life has hit rock bottom and lost everything and everyone. My life was going nowhere. Fast! And then I heard this song one night after I had shot a nice needle full of heroin up my arm. I was nodding out and had the radio turned up to a public radio station. It was the late night gospel hour. I must’ve been dreaming because I heard this song in my dream. It woke me up and it delivered a shot through my soul. That night I never picked up the needle again. Thank you McKamey’s.

McKameys 1 of my most favorite groups in gospel music!!! So so sad they will be ( RETIRING THIS YEAR 2019) It’s really sad because they’re 1 of our best, singing the good old time southern gospel music. Will really be hard to replace them. Actually... they’re ire replaceable!!!!

I was sitting in my car today having myself a pity party. And I started out listening to the primitive quartet, the old ship of Zion, and this song popped up, I've never heard of it before, I started listening to it and I busted out crying, cause it's exactly how I feel, especially the line "I wondered where was he? Is he still a friend of mine?" And coming down the road was Jesus right on time. Because sometimes when you pray a wall is there.. and you wonder where he is? I believe he sent me this song today to remind me, he's always on time and just hold on. I thank you Lord, for being with me in my car today. Thank you for reminding me, you are never late, you are always on time.

I always love how ma mckamey tears up.i have been a fan for twenty five or so years my husband turned me on to their music.and ma tearing up and starts her what I call her happy dance and kicks her shoes off and shouting.loooooopve it

This song has motivated me immensely, I am looking forward for my Jesus to show up right on time for me.

I’ve been seeing their singings since I was 5. I finally got to sing an play drums for our gospel group, opening up for them I was a teenager. Last time 1989. So many things that’s happened in my lifetime like when my dad died. Looking at him the song Borrowed tomb kept playing in my head. That song helped me get through the process and hard time

My previous husband Shawn Obrien and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on March 17, 1995. For five and a half of those year Shawn had been addicted to heroin. On the night of our anniversary Shawn didn't want to do anything at all to celebrate. That was very disappointing for me. But I began to pray in faith and trust God to help my husband overcome his addiction. I wrote songs of faith each day until Sunday night, when Shawn started into withdrawals and asked me to take him to the hospital at Texas Tech University where he was a student and fraternity member. Later that night, after Shawn had been admitted to the hospital I wrote Four Days Late.

After two years later watching this video again and I still loving their singing. The instrumental also is just amazing.

I've been going to church to be saved by grace and listen to the gospel music like McKenzies and other ones just because you don't have the Holy Spirit that don't mean you ain't going to get into heaven or are you need to go back to the altar I know where I stand that what the good Lord I have a fully personal relationship with God in the Lord Jesus you ain't going to go to hell just because you don't have the Holy Spirit God bless you

I remember when this was played on air. They replayed it and i had my vcr ready and recorded. The sung another song right after this called "under his feet".
