Funny how Mike goes "you don't dip the fully in the broth, that's a mistake I used to do" just to do it again minute later. 🤣

So nice to see Mike appreciating first-class traditional Japanese cuisine (in addition to Japanese McDonaldʻs). I remember when he didnʻt like raw seafood or vegetables, and I donʻt really care for all the huge quantities of meat and spicy sauces that most male foodie vloggers seem to go for, but Mike has gotten some education and experience and has refined his taste with Japanese cuisine, so itʻs a pleasure to watch him eat and comment on the dishes -- Iʻm lovinʻ it!

@@donald.R the crappy new menu items in fast food in the USA is mind boggling. It’s like they think Americans have terrible palettes and or taste. Or our cultural diversity in flavor will never sell. I see these same comments over and over that we want more so if it is our wants then it would sell. The special sauces don’t even hit.

Drooling over all the sushi. However, I thought since the only polite way to eat nigiri in Japan was to do it all in one go that it would always be smaller pieces. Some of those pieces I'm not sure I would have gotten into my mouth in one bite. In the US, since we are uncouth I don't worry about doing my nigiri in two bites as it is nearly always very large. I just do it with my hands and hold onto the piece for the second bite rather than to set it down.
