the fact that they are the same sounds is intentionally. the goal is that you should be able to go to any mcdonalds in the world and get the same thing so to speak. if u r a cook or a customer they whole point is to make it feel and taste the same. different parts of the world and all the basic sandwiches are there.

Its obvious this manager has been around a while. He is extremely efficient. He doesn't waste any movement of his steps or hands. he can seriously wrap some hamburgers and cheese burgers. I always wondered how the Big Macs were assembled. These are nice and neatly put together. I couldn't tell you how many times I have ordered Big Macs and they come just slapped together making for a messy eating experience. Yes, this manager is a real pro. Love watching him work. He could do all the McDoubles and Double Cheeseburgers together, zip along with the mustard then the ketchup, recon and pickles then cheese and then spread them out as you wrap and probably save several minutes. If I had 40 burgers to make I'd aim to do at most five runs of eight burgers at a time, otherwise you're just wasting time going back and forward.

Agreed, back in my day when I still worked at McDonald's the best employees were those who understood how the kitchen was designed and how the workflow went. Stubborn people who just wanted to do their own thing just failed. Sure it's working like a robot some times because you're literally just doing what you're told but I had so much fun working at McDonald's. I wouldn't want to work there anymore because the job doesn't fit my current needs but I would love to go back for a day and just rock it. All new way of working these days though, McDonald's in the Netherlands works the same as how it's shown in these video's, before you'd just make runs of products at the grill which were stashed for a maximum of 10 minutes and you had some sort of supply of Big Macs and Quarterpounders and what not. Current process is more work for the kitchen but better product for the customer.

I guess this keeps them hot and you don't have to microwave like we did then. We still had the bin at the time. This would take some time getting used to vs having a bin. So much walking along the line and cramped prep space it seems. We had bigger prep table and prepped on trays and then someone runnjng the bin doing all the wrapping / boxing.

Dude, the way you wrap the burgers is SO satisfying
I like how people talk about how satisfying this is meanwhile I come back to these videos once a year because I used to work Chick-fil-A/McDonald's and it was genuinely the most soul crushing thing I've ever done and I need motivation to work hard to not fall into it again. It sounds like I'm bashing you but thanks for the inspiration

Not sure how I came across this channel. I've been watching this guy work his butt off for the past month. This guy knows his way around his area and knows how to deliver every time. I appreciate his work ethic and most importantly the opportunity he's giving us to see what it's like working at a fast food restaurant.
I used to work at McDonald’s a few months ago for little while and I was on grill and I understand how frustrating things can get in the back. Typical rushes are pretty overwhelming just to my experience but 40 value meals!?!? If it were me behind there on tables I would have had to leave. Respect man. Just seeing this is awesome and shows that there are some hard ass workers out there. Really good content creator and also a spectacular worker. Keep it up brother you’ll go far with perseverance and dedication. Much love and goodnight 🤙🤙❤❤

Literally just stumbled upon your videos but I can't tell you how much I appreciate the fact that you try to do everything is neat as possible. I once got a cheeseburger that was stacked like a venn diagram. I understand how busy they get though
Wow, this toaster works great! Used to work for Australia's Burger King (Hungry Jacks) and our buns would get stuck inside ALL the time and get extra crispy and burnt, and had to fish it out with tongs. Also now those sauce squeezers look like they work really well, too.
Im gonna be honest. Just started working at McDonalds, so there is that.. One thing I wish they bring back is the international menu options perhaps making it permanent, but the items swap out every month. There is plenty of variety to go around and I think it would be pretty cool to see. Ik McDonalds did it as a limited time event with some international foods (like the Bacon Cheese Fries). I dont think the Hula Burger would be welcomed, though. (For those who dont know, it was introduced as a sales competition, to decide whether the filet o’ fish was added to the menu or not. As far as im aware it is no longer for sale in most states/countries)
All kinds of food service, whether a gourmet restaurant or a fast food joint, has humanity behind it, this video was great!
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.

Ive been in charge of multi-million dollar engineering/construction projects and i can confidently say working in fast food as a teen was one of the hardest jobs i've ever had. Its hot, greasy, constant movement, entitled customers who think they own you because they dropped $4 on a burger. Very demanding job, just not intellectually hard.
Love these 20 minute videos I wait for them every time they come out ❤

I'd love a video of the daily prep for everything and the transitions between lunch and breakfast menus.

Such a grind, I love it. Keep it up

You know it really annoys me when people belittle folks for working at McDonald’s, like somehow it’s an embarrassment or something. These folks work hard, it’s honest work for a honest living. I have no problem working at McDonald’s if I had to. It’s not lowering my standards, it’s putting my best foot forward in any job I work at, something people these days seem to know nothing about. I assume it’s just kids who are ignorant to the ways of life.

I'm not sure I like the new bun toaster. I liked the bun cabinet. You had someone working buns and maybe meat depending on how busy it was.
