I started working at McDonald's one month ago. Gonna be honest, these videos inspired me. I didn't really consider fast food because I've heard stories and people always told me that they're the worst, especially McDonald's. But since starting I've actually enjoyed it a lot. Making burgers especially. There's just something satisfying about the whole process of making the food, assembling it, and sending it to the next person to put the orders together. My coworkers and managers are all nice and helped me greatly when I started, even when I made mistakes (and boy did I make some). I thank you for these awesome videos showcasing exactly what the McDonald's experience is, rather than having to hear another horror story of mistreatment from other people my age. I've enjoyed pretty much the whole experience so far.

As a DoorDasher, I love getting orders at McDonalds in my area. The are fast, efficient, and understand we are working an order with a timer going. In a sense, we are bringing you more customers (aka: revenue) for those you cannot get to your store. Great Job!

Question! The McDonald's nearest to me in New York City just recently started making the burgers the "new way". (Throwing the onions onto the meat while grilling, etc.) But because of how the onions are done now, the final product barely has any onions on it. With the old methods, you would pick up a pinch of onions while prepping the toppings, and I would usually get a good amount on each burger. So I started asking for extra onions when I order now, but it seems they actually never put extra onions on. Has it become difficult to do now that the onions are being sprinkled onto the grill?

I love efficiency. I'd kill it working there once I learned. The cheese should be with the stack tilted slightly, each piece offset a bit so you can grab 1 easy every time, that's a time waster.

As someone who's tried that, it just makes the cheese dry out over time. it doesn't actually help. Plus there's other things you could be doing with the time it takes to arrange all the slices.

In the Tempe Arizona Market McDonald's do not steam the bun for the filet of fish. Of all things they toast it. So in turn when you bite into it the tartar sauce runs not a very pleasant experience.

When I bring up the issue the manager looks at me like I'm crazy. If they would just give us a choice to either toast it or not that would be great.
