It was great to be a teen when this hit... Entertainment! Everybody was trying to do moves like MC Hammer, Oaktown's 357, Kid N Play, Bobby Brown, Heavy D... etc. We danced our asses off....

OH MAN!! I remember watching this when it came on for the first time!! I went to so many Hammer concerts with my MOM and best friend! haha! I really thought I was the long lost member of 357 I had my little black biker shorts with the red skirt over it and shiny patent leather shoes! I was the ish!! This was the good ole days when everyone danced & dressed alike. I am sooo happy that I grew up during this time. Music today cant come close to the 80's and 90's. I just watched this 3 xs in a row!

but his best video was the low budget version of "let's get it started' raw energy and straight forward. his dance solo was legendary.

The only thing funnier than the fact I had this on VHS is that this guy videotaped his television and put it on youtube! LOLOL. Yo, I had 8 hrs of VHS tape of Arsenio Hall performances. New Edition, Hammer, Luther, Bobby Brown, Public Enemy, Doug E. Fresh, Levert, Heavy D, ect. Had it all converted to DVD to protect the history of Music and show my kids what real music was all about.

The 90's were the shit. East Coast and West Coast were droppin' shit all over the country and then comes Juvinile and Mystikal. I guess that is why I just go to Back Spin on Serius Radio, seriously. Now its time for a little Gin and Juice.

East coast had dope jazz and blues samples with great rhymes. West coast had the funk and passion. No limit and cash money was fun but it’s like comparing the fast and the furious to The Godfather.

Lemme tell y'all something. One of my boys cousins used to dance for Hammer. Hammer had them on a military regimen - they ran 4 miles a day.. Ask him, Hammer will tell you... Where do you think he got the bells from...came from his days in the Navy. And yes, this is when he was raw, ghetto and black people loved him. He messed up when he moved to the Oakland Hills.

Man, this is so taking me back! Seeing him on Arsenio then was the show to watch, and it would be so amazing, cuz he would put on a show! All the dancers going their thing, Hammer doing his thing, the crowd being so hyped because of Hammer, he was just an incredible showman. Hate that hip hop started to change, and we got away from this. Man, I miss seeing shows like this, hearing songs like this!
