Mbongo Tchobi by lapiroskitchen Ep 1
Mbongo tchobi, a west African black spicy stew.
Ingredients
5 table spoons Mbongo
Leek - a hand full
Celery - a hand full
4 Behbeh (African nutmeg)
3 Contri onion or 1 teaspoon if grounded
4 plum tomatoes
4 fresh fish cut
5 Maggi cubes
4 basil leaves
2 bay leaves
25 njansa
1 cup vegetable oil
4 cloves of garlic
A little bit of Ginger
1 teaspoon White pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 onion
Habanero pepper (optional)
Salt to taste
Directions,
Chop up half of your onion, leek, tomatoes, put in a blender, add all the other ingredients and blend, add your mbongo and blend some more until well mixed. Cut your fish to your desired size, salt the fish and add your blended ingredients in it, mix well. Chop the other half of your onion, heat up a cup of oil then add your onions for about 2 minutes after that add your mbongo with the fish. Cover the pot and cook for about 20 minutes. When ready serve with bobolo, you can also serve with white yams or cassava. Please don't forget to like and subscribe for more videos.

Looks good but I prefer when it is fried with palm oil not vegetable oil
