The brothers predicted the future again. The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago took its rockhopper penguins around to check out the other animals during the 2020 lockdown. The beluga whales thought they were fascinating.

9:54 I like how Griffin realized that nothing is effective against a hippo, so he gave Justin his fish back instead

i remember this zoo trip where a goose was walking around with us looking at the animals same as everyone then at the end everyone went out to the parking lot and he started looking around for his car too, before going like "oh wait, I flew here" and taking off.

4:27 - I like that Griffin backtracks to add just a little realism to this scenario. The penguin's still communicating with him but not actually talking. I would pick a baby cheetah, vastly overestimating its similarities to a housecat.

The book Griffin read about penguin ownership was either about Mr. Popper, or Iceburg Slim.

I’d take a lynx. I’d imagine they’re just bigger and probably angrier house cats. I want a cat that’s the size of a medium dog. I would imagine I’d need to keep a 44-60lb lynx in a separate room from my 13lb tabby cat though.. Lest there be territorial aggression.. But I have a cat tree and some jingly mice and a butterfly on a string and whatever. I’ve had cats all my life, I could handle a lynx alright, no problem, probably.

Oooh I’d check out a red panda, hands down. I’d research the hell out of how to care for it for a while. I know it’s got sharp claws and teeth, but I’d die for the cute little guy

speaking of, fish are so picky abt their conditions and you would need a huge tank, imo thats like the worst one discounting the ones that will literally kill you. fennec fox is better but their piss smells like skunk spray and they are just generally rank. i would say just get a small tortoise and then lock it in the bathroom with a cat tower and throw it like lettuce and cut up hotdogs. its only for a week right? your floor and door will be scratched to hell but that would happen no matter what you pick.

how about a non venomous snake? keep it in a box with a bowl of water and something to hide under, it probably doesn't need to eat for a week, you would probably need a way to regulate temperature tho
