“Funny” as a noun refers to a comedic newspaper comic strip. Thus, when they said “the fabulous funny” they were referring to the Garfield comic as a whole, rather than to the character of Garfield in particular.

Thank you omg!!! This is the only time I've ever been frustrated with Travis. Like, canonically Garfield is obsessed with Italian food! I feel like the brothers are only referencing the movies (and possibly cartoons) and never spent much time on the strip, which is obviously where the us and nerds who invented the franchise are focused.

I have sad news. Last year was a terrible year. It took so many things from us, but the most devastating loss, was GarfieldEATS. The Toronto location has officially closed its doors.

It is December 28th, 2022. The GarfieldEATS app is still available for download, but the app no longer functions outside of Garfield's disembodied voice saying "Love me, feed me, don't leave me". Followed by "Please Wait". It has been just over a year since GarfieldEATS shut down. We didn't leave Garfield, he left us. GarfieldEATS 2018-2021 ✌️

Important update on this: the Toronto location has since closed its doors after its owner did not pay rent on the location (even after a kickstarter allegedly to raise the rent money). In the video announcing the closure, the owner almost immediately pivoted from said news into an announcement for his new line of Garfield-themed NFTs selling for $100 apiece. There’s a quote about living to become the villain that might be relevant here, but I’ll leave that to other people.

I had to look this one up online. This is a real thing! 😮

They could’ve named the drink _cat-puccino_ or _Garffee_

"I wanna munch bugs" is horrifyingly prescient to the beaver ass/crushed up beetle conversation they end up having later

I will defend "Fabulous Funny" in that people refer to comics themselves as "The Funnies" - so it was in reference to Garfield as an IP not as a cat. That said, this whole thing still sounds like it CANNOT be real.

While possible being the Best munch squad, it also somehow has my favorite intro. I wanna munch, bugs!

"Love Me. Feed Me." Say that you love me. "Don't Leave Me." Leave me. Just say that you need me. I can't care about anything but 18:35 - Garffool by The Cardi-sagne (mini parody of Lovefool by The Cardigans)
