Every time I hear this bit, and I know this is really random, I think of the wolf villager Kyle from Animal Crossing. It's too uncanny.

for real though, he should have found a wildlife rescue near him and I think they'd have took him in and relocated him or just brought him to a sanctuary if he couldn't take care of himself in the wild

As someone who spends a lot of time helping out at a professional wildlife shelter, this story is actually pretty depressing. Feeding wild animals is how we end up with animals needing to be put down. Your coyote isn't your specific friend, he's just associating "human" with food. When he ends up at another person's house and doesn't get the meal he expects, he will get violent, and because of that, euthanized. It's actually distressingly common.

That's really sad. :( I don't think the kids knew any better, or they would've left Kyle alone. People should educate their kids about this and similar situations.

Maybe Kyle and Kenneth had switch bodies. That’s why Kenneth (now a wolf) was struggle so much in the winter, not just because food is scarce but he doesn’t yet know how to Wolf. Kyle (the now human) likes his new human lifestyle and is afraid Kenneth will try to take his new life away from him but doesn’t want to straight up murder his former self.

This is very good.

This is one of my favorite segments they've ever done. Just gold from start to finish.

Okay but celebrity dad swap where Kyle and the dad trade places and human dad has to learn how to be a good father to coyote pups

For some reason I imagine the dad as Gordon Ramsay 😂😭

Out of context, the title of this segment made me think of "Kyle and the Kids" from Bojack Horseman, and that the title would be the movie spin-off of the 'sitcom'.

What they are describing is 100% a R rated version of over the hedge type of situation

its been four years i hope kyle is doing well and grown into his role as a father

Little did they know, a year later James Corden voices peter rabbit and attempts to force a man out of his home for being a "dick".

My dad told me about an old man who has a video of him feeding LOTS os racoons in the cold, dude even say "they are very hungry because it's so cold" and I remembered Kyle and was like OH F

I approve of this movie

Really, really, really wanna watch this film

If I were this guy's wife, those kids would be grounded to an unheard of level after I got attacked by Kyle.

The epic of kyle is not one story. It is a dozen stories told sequentially until you understand every nuance of this situation from every point of view. This podcast is just one of the dozen tales in the epic of kyle.
