I have a strong instinct Joe will take Boston to new heights, everybody was gunning for him after the loss to heat, but he changed the game, beating the heat with a margin of 20/ 30, hope this is the year of Mazulla.

I’m so disappointed that the night the Celtics won the Championship was the 1st night I watch & that was only because my son who I love dearly has Stage 4 cancer in his back, stomach, his pelvic & now his leg wanted me too. He’s a die hard Red Sox’s Fan & Celtic’s since he was a kid. He’s now 59 & may not be around much longer. I know that God can heal him but is that my Son’s best interest? I so enjoyed seeing what the Celtics had developed into, a TEAM not anyone single individual!! Amazing!! I’ll never miss another game!! I was a Dave Cowens girl, I’m now 80

Joe Mazzou is certainly an odd ball. The players willingness to adjust to the situation in hand is quite remarkable. Joe's messages get through. Tatum is also a standout leader in this regard. Let Go Celtics.

I'm grateful J. Mazzulla for haven given me the opportunity to love you for you having shared your view(s). You make the World a better place in a time when people need a friend to understand, comprehend?. Being who you were born to be is always in season. I won't say, that's for you to share or not to. Me on the other hand, I'm an open book. I'll just leave it at this for you soldier and platoon. Let's Go Celtics, Let's Go!!! Scream it from the rooftops Celtics faithful, so they can hear you in Japan, understand man!!!

He gets a bad rap sometimes. Last year, he was thrust into the job right before pre-season and pretty much learned on the job. They still got within one game of the finals. This year, he took them to a 64 - 18 record, by far the best in the NBA, but all some want to do is tear him down on the losses. It's still only his 2nd year as a head coach and he's done pretty damn well. I realize this year is NBA Finals or bust and they pretty much have to win it all or st very least, go to a game 7 close game. If Denver gets there (and that's no guarantee either with OKC and Minnesota around), they will be a TOUGH matchup, but if the Celtics play their very best basketball for 7 games (and Porzingis is healthy), I truly think they are the best team in the NBA and nobody can beat them in a seven game series.

Set the standard higher and adapt to the conditions they try to dictate, and be satisfied with leaving your best effort regardless of the outcome. Go Celtics

Yet to hear a single compelling endorsement from the actual players with respect to his coaching. I’m ignorant about basketball in general but after watching the Celtics for 20 years, I can tell you it doesn’t feel like he has much impact on the game with respect to coaching yet and I hope that changes as he seems like he works hard.

I’m not the biggest Mazzulla fan but Derrick white and jrue have praised him multiple times this year and DWhite has said he’s one of the main reasons for the growth and praised how he gave him more confidence in his game

"It starts with Joe. Ever since he took over, he's just given me the most confidence. I can talk to him, he can talk to me and just our relationship is just getting better and better each day. It's amazing to play for him and I love it." -Derrick White “I give Joe a lot of credit. I’ve seen the growth,. Not that I didn’t think he did a great job last year, he just has more time to prepare. He was able to get a staff that he felt supported him in the best way, and he’s helped change the culture in a lot of ways honestly. I feel like he’s had a huge imprint on how how wants things to be, how he wants practice, how he wants the environment, the vibe. We’ve all bought in, but Joe has done a great job of taking charge of doing things how he wants it to go. It’s his team, he’s the coach, and it’s been really cool to see.” -Jayson Tatum “A few guys told me that he was sort of the mastermind behind our defense and everything in the Finals, and his game plan, his adjustments, and his scouting reports were really good." -Malcolm Brogdon
