Gabe Vincent is a good player with defense. I like him. I also hope Vanderbilt won't be traded. He's the only player in the team who can guard Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic and even Kevin Durant. Of course these players can still score against Vanderbilt, the hard way.

Quigley gets 5 yrs, 175 million from Toronto. He averages 17 pts per game with no ECF or all-star appearances. Dlo averages 18 pts per game and gets 18 million and is an all-star. IMO, Dlo is getting REALLY disrespected.

No market for Dlo and no good all around guards available on said market. We’re stuck with a choker who can’t play D and is a terrible leader and floor general. When his shot is broke he provided next to nothing. I miss the Fisher days. At least on the days his shot wasn’t going you could count on him in other ways, especially defensively.

Lakers aren’t gonna get anyone who’s better than DLo at the MLE, so it’s better DLo opts in.

D’Lo can be optimized with better coaching. Despite having a terrible coach, he had his most efficient year from 3 and the offense was the smoothest when he was allowed to do what he does.

If it wasn’t for dlo lakers wouldn’t have that record plus we were missing wood and vando

I'm still on the fence with DLo. I feel like what we should be doing is trying to get back to how our team was in the 2020 season. Good defense wins championships. Can Rob do it? Only time will tell.

I loved all the drafts, specially the undrafted ones "all are JJ splash brothers". One draft I was disappointed, that is Cam Christie should have been drafted by Lakers instead of Clip peppers. They could have bought 40 to 45 second round and drafted Cam Christie.

Bron is not taking a pay cut. He learned from this mistake in Miami.

Injury prone, inconsistent AD needs to take a pay cut. If i were the GM, i would pay AD minimum wage, 16 bucks an hour. Then i would pay Lebron 10 million a year. I would trade everyone else and get 3 superstars and pay them 20 million each. Then i would bring in 2001 Shaq and pay him 15 million. We couldn’t even handle an injured murray and you conveniently forget our best defensive scheme is to let teams shoot and drive until they get tired of scoring. With all your cherry picking, you forget how our MO is to let some random bench guy go off for 30 on a given night. Our best defense is to just stand around or get beat off the dribble. reeves, dlo, and bron some of the worst on ball defending starters in the league. This was always pretty obvious to me as D-Lo has simply been extremely inefficient in the playoffs. I never saw him getting 20+ million per yr as a bad defender, someone who doesn’t get to FT line at all and streaky. When he’s hot he can be awesome offensively but when he doesn’t outside of passing he doesn’t do anything at all well (defense, getting to FT line, deflections, spg, bpg, rbg etc). Opting in at this point would prob be best then hopefully trade him if possible before deadline as expiring.

I don’t see anybody paying D’Lo more than $19 million, so why would he opt out? Even if he does opt out, there is nobody the Lakers could sign that would be better. Seems like they are stuck together for one more season.

Now that we have a different coach, and hopefully Vando is going to be available, you want to pair one of them with a defender and not play them both together for long stretches because they both can't guard anyone.
